RMT- 4:4:2 or 4:5:1

Post by Flashheart »

Any advice greatly appreciated. I'm a single entrant in a league with friends. Struggling to decide whether to go 4:4:2 or 4:5:1

Moraes £3.9m - After reading comment about value in keepers it seems to be the way to go.

Van Aanholt £3.2m Undecided between him or Cederic (more appearances and points last season)
Robertson £3.8m Liverpool look more solid at the back.
Mendy £4.0m Looks like he'll have a good season and start most games.
Coady £2.4m First choice bargain defender. Will start.

Mane £5.4m Liverpool look-free scoring as usual.
Sane £4.9m Shou;d start early in the season.
Salah £6.0m
Jota £3.2M Seems to be the choice midfield enabler.
Sanchez £5.6m Despite United's problems should start as main striker. Can't be worse than last season.

Aguero £6.8m

Total £49.2m

I like the look of this team and there's plenty in reserve to make changes. The only issue I have is it will require more than one change to get two strikers in, although the midfield is full of strikers.

Or....

Patricio £3.0m Cheap keeper but not keen on doubling upon Wolves defence.

Robertson £3.8m
Mendy £4.0m
Cederic £3.3m
Coady £2.4m

Salah £6.0m
Sane £4.9m
Jota £3.2m
Sanchez £5.6m or Erikssen given funds available?

Aguero £6.8m
Aubameyang £6.6m

Total £49.6m

Leaves funds to add in Kane when necessary and gives the flexibility of 4:4:2 to make fewer changes but given the value of top players I'd probably need to make more than one change anyway.

Feel free to pull apart.
