Please RMT, can one upfront work??

Post by mickyferns80 »

Moraes

Robertson
Bailly
Mandy
Douglas

Salah
Sane
Mane
Sanchez
Jota

Aguero

One up front always been a big no no in fantasy but all 5 midfielders play as part of a front 3 so although risky I think worth a shot, thoughts please?

Nothing wrong with having only 1 up front, especially when this allows you to get in high scoring midfielders. Which you have. Just watch out re Douglas - he's moved to Leeds!

Change Douglas to Coady, and that then gives you some money to upgrade Bailly to somebody guaranteed a weekly start, then that's a decent looking team.

It is not just Bailly that is not guaranteed a start. Jesus could start more games than Aguero and City have so many attacking midfielders Sane could be rotated a lot

I think Sane will start being fresh from no WC and a point to prove, Aguero for me when fit starts in front of Jesus but I do agree Bailly abit of a risk, may have to rethink that one...

So I've ended up here...

Moraes

Van Aarnholt
Robertson
Mandy
Stephens

Salah
Jota
Sanchez
Mane
Sane

Aguero

It leaves 600k spare should I need put Kane or KDB in, thoughts?

Is Stephens a starter now? I initially included him but have now moved him to the "monitor" pile as Saints seem to have several other CB options, including Vestergaard, Yoshida, and Bednarek. (Hoedt too?) Probably needs a Saints fan to comment...

Trippier not likely to start first week or two. I personally don't fancy Sanchez but plenty do. Otherwise, decent team, fairly template.

Cheers for the feedback, agree on Sanchez but as a midfielder he is a risk worth taking imo he's probably got 2 games to perform before I swap him for a striker!

I'm tempted with one up front this season

It's possibly a risk but for the first time I'm hoping it cud work due to the fact that all them midfielders basically play as part of a front 3, we will I suppose.
