Just made my first deposit in over a year. Played for less than 10 minutes and flopped an Ace high flush. Beaten by a turned straight flush.

Back to online retirement.

Morning Tom,

I haven't played online poker for an age now! Just don't have the time needed to play properly anymore :(

I'm just taking an interest in http://www.draftkings.co.uk at the moment. A fantasy sports website with a poker style lobby with lots of events to choose to enter - weekly/daily comps on all sports. Lots of big fields so similar to poker MTTs - small stakes entry for potential big prizes. There's a $20 US Masters comp next weekend - $4M GTD and $1M to the winner

Game on.

Be lucky.

:D

I still play now and again, mincashed the 10th anniversary million the other week and won a seat to MPN Sofia on Sunday!

Going for some practice in the Queen Square One Hundred tonight.

That DraftKings looks interesting, might check it out.

Practice didn't go so well. Got dealt utter crap all night, had AK once won a reasonable pot, two pocket pairs (66 and 22) lost flips with both. My biggest pot was won with 72o.

Back for another try tonight.

Haven't played for a while, but we should see if we can get a table together for a private FISO game like in the old days (if any sites still offer that facility?)

I've not played for around two to three years, but may have a go later to see how I get on.

I think Poker Stars still offers that group table option.

Similarly, haven't played for an age, but would be up for a FISO group game for a laugh. And to take your money, obviously :P

1k is a nice score. I'm still examining the lyrics to that 'know when to fold them' song so haven't played poker in a while.

Haven't played poker for a while... idea of a revived FISO private online game last year didn't seem to get much interest.

Just been looking through some of the old poker threads, it really was massive on here at the height of the boom. Had almost forgotten we had heads-up poker tournaments, one of which I organised... and the regular weekly game was always competitive.

For anyone who still plays regularly - which sites are still reasonably active? I doubt there's too many fish swimming around in the waters of online poker these days, I expect it's hard work to make a profit even at $10 sit-and-gos. But tempted to dabble in it again for old time's sake...

If you want a casual game, just play at Pokerstars. There'll be plenty there for all buy ins.

If you want to take it a bit more seriously , there's Party , 888 , all the bookmakers.

www.pokerscout.com monitors the amount of traffic each site gets

I am on and off poker still playing mirco, I am more of a fun player and not a gambler and that maybe what is holding me back. I got in to poker from liking other trading card games when I was a teenager.I will struggle to play 1/2 cash game not beacuse I am bad , I think I am ok, it's just the gambling money thing, it's quite alot to me and I think i can't take the swings.

Just got back into it from email saying I had a big chest which turned out to be 3 dollars! Wow. And I have turned it into 70 dollars, I didn't expect that. But it's very slow, especially cash games but deep MMT help me build it a bit faster.
