All though I do get the hate around Jamie gold on poker , but I think alot of the hate he gets is harsh.

I thought he was bad . But after watching on YouTube his highlights winning wsop in 2006, he is not that bad.
He not that good either but the thing that gave him edge was his poker talk during hands .About what hes got and what his opponent got. He really confused other players. Of course after the tournament he got famous and his talking during hands didn't work any more . He was figured out.

But he won it the tournament and he made it quite exciting to watch. Without his personality on the table he would not of won.

Also telling your opponent what you got before the hand was finished was not really aloud. so in 2007 the rule became tighter.
