Use of transfers advice

Post by Wee Boy »

Very basic questions here, in my defence this is my first go at FF.
I'm not sure I have it clear in my head as to the benefits of savings transfers ?

Do they:
1. help you cover injuries to your team. (do injuries generally increase later in the season (i.e. post christmas) ?

2. help ensure you field a full team during the finals & semi finals (are there semi finals in the prmiership ?)

that's it...

Are you a rugby fan?!

Semi finals and a final in the Premiership? In the FA Cup, yes, Premiership is not a cup competition and unlike in Rugby, the team that tops the league at the end is then declared champions. :!:

Wee Boy - come back.

I'll assume you meant the FA Cup and not the Premiership and in that case it is advisable to save a proportion of your transfers for the extra games in that competition.

As a rule you should only use your transfers post Xmas for serious injuries or to get rid of players who are not getting a game or are SERIOUSLY under-performing. Tinkering for tinkering's sake is a definite no-no.

p.s. if you did mean the Premiership then ignore my advice and accept the castigating you've been getting from the posters above

You forgot about the third option.

3) Use all your transfers up for the extra time multiball.

Seriously though, maybe there should be another commandment
0.1 Know, or find out real quick, what the fantasy competion you're in is all about
1. Read the Rules
2. Want to do some Transfers
etc
etc
etc
