Mido is rubbish! Its Back

Post by durno1 »

Ive decided to stick with my comments and re open this debate. Everyone who has Mido would of took him out this time next month. (and 76% of them would of probably brought in Bellamy coz when he returns hopefully vs Birmingham 20+ points per game beckon) Another intelligent post from Durno me thinks. :D

You may have your views, fair enough, but Mido is a decent enough player VFM wise. As far as Bellamy goes, I would tip him as a decent point scorer for his price range, although D. Bent is obviously a far better choice.

I don't have Mido but I would have thought he was worth considering. I reckon he's good for 7 or 8 goals this year and the same number of assists. It seems like Jol wants to play him (unless any Spurs fans say different) so if he gets say 30 matches in you are looking at about 120 points, I think that's a good return for £3.8m.

I think I just persuaded myself there, now what was the password this week? :?

I'm happy with him in some of my teams. Ok, if doing a 4-3-3, then maybe you could think he should a mid 3 mil mf, but it's the option of having a striker of his price whom is favoured by his manager.

Only time will tell, but I ain't worried about having him.

i like these silly debates :)

i've had mido from the start, AND i also kept him in during his suspension. both these decisions have paid off.

i have money to bring henry back in, a transfer spare, and points in the bag.

what i dont have however, is mido playing today, as i've chosen reyes and rooney over him.... bad decision? im not sure yet! :)

everton have to win sometime, wonder whether it will be today against their bogey team spurs.

ps. just saw sky sports before, with the spurs squad training, and i never realised mido was so tall!

I have had him from the start. The second choice spurs striker for £3.8m! Seems almost madness not to have him (until they buy aonther striker in Jan)!

As previously discussed at great length, I thought Durno's original post about Mido was garbage, and his subsequent claim that 'Bellamy would definitely outscore Mido' on that weekend was just stupidity. No one can know what will definitely happen in any match.

here's to a Mido hatrick today to bury Everton and allow us to all laugh at Durno again.
