TFF chit chat 23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th April
FRIDAY 23RD APRIL
Arsenal 20:00 Everton
This weekend's 8 games start with a Friday night fixture between Arsenal and Everton. The Gunners recorded a draw against Fulham last time out. Arsenal will be without Aubameyang and Lacazette for a game or two, plus Tierney is also out. The Toffees had Siggy and his spiders to thank for last week's draw with Spurs. Calvert Lewin may be back for Everton.
SATURDAY 24TH APRIL
Liverpool 12:30 Newcastle United
Saturday's matches kick off at 12:30pm with a match between Liverpool and Newcastle at Anfield. The Reds were in action last Monday, drawing against Leeds. Salah came off the bench and Mane scored his first goal for a while. Newcastle have collected 7 points from a possible 9 and have slowly crept away from the relegation zone. Saint-Maximin picked up an ankle injury against the Hammers.
West Ham United 17:30 Chelsea
Speaking of the Hammers, at 5:30pm we have a London derby between West Ham and Chelsea. West Ham will be without Dawson (suspended), Antonio and Rice (both injured) but will have super Jessie Lingard at their disposal. Chelsea played out a bore draw with Brighton on Tuesday and Mr Tickle rested Azpilicueta for the first time in his tenure.
Sheffield United 20:00 Brighton & Hove Albion
At 8pm, Sheffield United versus Brighton at Bramall Lane. The Blades have been officially relegated back to the Championship and it is doubtful that anyone would have any of their players. Brighton have recorded back-to-back nil-nil draws with Everton then Chelsea so will be hoping to get someone on the scoresheet tonight.
SUNDAY 25TH APRIL
Wolverhampton Wanderers 12:00 Burnley
Three games this Sunday, the first of which being Wolves v Burnley. Wolves beat Sheffield United last weekend, a rare goal from Willian Jose. Burnley lie just above the relegation zone and have not won a single game this month. Fortunately they have a game in hand over Fulham. There is a possibility that Pope will be fit for this one.
Leeds United 14:00 Manchester United
At 2pm a tale of two Uniteds, Leeds versus Manchester. Leeds have come through a couple of tricky fixtures recently, beating Man City and drawing with Liverpool. Another tough game today but Raphinha may be back. Man Utd eventually beat Burnley last weekend, a brace from Greenwood and a Cavani goal. Still no Martial for the Red Devils.
Aston Villa 19:00 West Bromwich Albion
Sunday's late game is Aston Villa against West Brom at Villa Park. Villa lost to Man City in midweek and were still without Jack Grealish. Cash is withdrawn from this game due to his recent red card. West Brom played and lost to Leicester on Thursday so have had less recovery time than their opponents.
MONDAY 26TH APRIL
Leicester City 20:00 Crystal Palace
And finally, the Monday night fixture is Leicester v Palace at the King Power. Leicester were in action on Thursday night, a convincing win with another Iheanacho goal plus Vardy looked like is is out of hibernation. Crystal Palace have recorded a win, a draw and a loss in April but are sat comfortably in mid table.
Arsenal 20:00 Everton

Call me naive but I’ve only just realised how many families have the fantasy football skills gene. First the Fricker/Patel’s and now just looked at the Swann’s in the weekly and monthly competitions. Their families must talk about nothing else. They don’t need forums, they’ve got each other bless them

4 superstar forwards all start for Liverpool. Nat Phillips still has hamstring issues so Fabinho is in defence again. Unless they are playing 334
Mohamed Salah returns to the starting line-up for Liverpool’s lunchtime clash with Newcastle United at Anfield.
The Egyptian replaces James Milner in the XI in the only change to the team deployed at Leeds United on Monday night.
Curtis Jones is back on the substitutes’ bench following injury.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander, Arnold, Fabinho, Kabak, Robertson, Thiago, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Jota, Firmino.
Subs: Adrian, Milner, Keita, Oxlade, Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Rilliams, Nilliams.
Other lot: Dubravka, Clark, Fernandez, Dummett, Ritchie, Longstaff, Shelvey, Murphy, Al Miron, St Max, Joe Linton
Subs: Gillespie, Carroll, Gayle, Wilson, Lewis, Hendrick, Krafth, Manquillo, Willock

Yesterday's Sporting Life: "Wolves welcome Burnley to Molineux on Sunday afternoon, and luckily for football fans, BBC Two will be showing live coverage of the Snooker World Championships, so you don’t have to watch it".

Can’t help but feel Kane has been rushed back.
Now likely to aggravate his injured glass ankle and end up missing the Euros.

Toyed with bringing Castagne in for a Man C defender tonight, so was relieved when Palace scored.

Re: TFF chit chat 23rd, 24th 25th and 26th April
Nice to see this game being so family and female friendly.
3 of the Reed family and 4 of the Swanns all in the top 50 of MOTW at the moment.
Shame it is being won by a bloke with no obvious family members joining him up there
Also 5 different women in the top 11 of MOTM. Go ladies! Also a big family affair with the Taggarts joining the Reeds and Swanns in this one.
Again sadly being won by a bloke with no obvious family members joining him up there

Leicester 2-1 Crystal Palace (80 mins)
.... not sure if Iheanacho did too much in order to negate the assist
