Does Firmino do things in FPL scoring that makes him high value over there? 3 points per game for brightest teeth? I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole at 6m in TFF.

Yeah (I picked out some of the bigger names, obviously), Werner is seen as close to a must-have over in the FPL universe, he’s in over half of all the drafts I’ve seen.... and he is way better value in TFF. So that would say he should be the first name on everyone’s TFF team sheet.

Greenwood maybe... although the recent signing of van de Beek may well limit his starts, so that might be one to watch?

Sterling... the comparison data says he’s better value in TFF than KdB, plus I think the discussion on the change to the KC rules concluded it would have a detrimental effect on someone like KdB, who got a lot of second KC’s last year. So yeah, that would argue for Sterling.

I’m leaving out MC initially taking the 341 and leaving cash to get in Sterling later.

The scores you see in TFF new site are last year's scores adjusted for the new rules. 199 for KDB and 166 for Sterling. I think they've made a slight error and Sterling should be 178 but even so KDB comfortably ahead. Plus, bizarrely, he wasn't on pens until Spring but he is now.

Re Firmino & Lacazette, I don’t see much (any!) love for them over in FPL land. The points scoring systems are very similar, and the same for all players anyway, so I think any such discrepancies between TFF and FPL are probably legit signs of VFM in one or the other.

There is one factor however which might explain some differences in pricing. In FPL you have a 15-man squad, not just 11, and have more transfers available to uou over the course of a season, alloeing more swapping in or out.

So you can (arguably) more easily accommodate a player like Lacazette in FPL, who might score a hatful one week and then be rotated the next. That might also argue why a streaky player like Sterling is valued more in FPL (vs TFF), compared to a solid performer like KdB? But such differences are pretty minor factors I think.

Yeah, fair enough, so Sterling ahead on projected VFM based in relative TFF/FPL pricing, KdB ahead on predicted new-rules points (which is more important of course), despite those new rules.

I wouldn't buy him for 5m!

You don't get points for being a good player with good teeth

Just noticed that the TFF website has a countdown clock in the top right of the screen, which is currently showing 4d 9h 40m, which takes you up to midnight on Thursday. But the transfer amnesty is right up until kick-off on Saturday (have checked, and it says that in a few places).

Is that countdown just a glitch on the website or am I missing something?

Apologies if it has already been mentioned but is Chelsea's Kai Havertz called something else on TFF or is he just missing? :?

Okay cheers for that. Didn't realise he had only just signed as I noticed today that he is listed in other formats.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to see this, having not read any of this thread but thought I'd just look and see what TFF is about this season then saw this. Is the rest of the site any more professional when it comes to spelling the name of their client?Image
