TFF chit chat 14th March onwards

Post by morganb »

We've got virus
Coronavirus
I just don't think you understand...

Well, I have written this week's chit chat but am not going to post it until we know what is going to happen with this weekend's fixtures

We know that Arsenal v Brighton is off, and Callum Hudson-Odoi has it, but other than that at the moment no decision has been made.

Feel free to post any breaking news on here and if any games go ahead I will put the actual thread up

Hope you all stay virus-free - now wash your hands

Can't speak for murf, but on behalf of Spurs fans everywhere, we're delighted to accept your kind offer, brencarr.

Kane says can we make it September though.

The most difficult part of their deliberations will be working out which teams will have been most seriously affected by coronavirus and hence which teams are most likely to under-perform.

The Fiso spellchecker needs serious updating. It's red underlining is suggesting that it has never heard of coronavirus. Where on earth has it been doing recently?

Rushmoor Panthers team news:

They've a couple of injury problems at the back and their regular keeper is out so expect goals in this one. Their Celtic inspired kit is glinting in the spring sunshine.

Don't know much about the opposition, they are kitted out in red though. Apparently they are weak at the back but strong up front.

Will keep you posted as goals go in.

No sign of Sky but the local paper is here

Probably! 2-1 at half time. Great goal by the Panthers no. 10 (Gregs) Callum with the assist

3-1 (Ollie) - great free kick into the box

4-2 now, 15 minutes left.

Finished 4-2 with another red leaving the away team down to 9

Rumour has it that this could be the last game of the season, even though there are half a dozen games left to play

Lots of National League game were cancelled due to sick players / scares.

Bad enough if the team is going down with flu but add in quarantining and it soon escalates.

I attended one of my son's FIFA Ultimate team matches by default, whilst sat on the sofa.

Not sure if that's what you had in mind, but it was the only action I could find.

Perhaps the FIFA players amongst us could play this weekend's Premier League fixtures and give us the results? We'd need goalscorer, assist and KC info please!

OK, my lad's done Villa v Chelsea.

1-0 Samatta (Douglas Luiz) 28'
1-1 Kante (Abraham) 40'
1-2 Abraham (Kante) 77'

No 2nd KCs on any of the goals.

Good news for those that held on to Tammy. Not sure Hudson-Odoi should have come on near the end, but nice to see him up and about.

Don't forget the clocks 'spring forward' tonight.

Any transfer deadlines tomorrow will be an hour earlier in old money.

(PS My money is on Aguero not starting. Just my guess, not heard anything specific on twitter or whatever)

I'll go with your intuition. Let's hope he gets the chance to start some games before the clocks "fall back" again.
