After Chelsea's defeat last night, apparently Liverpool have now qualified for next season's Champions League, so there can't be much of the season left

How many transfers have you got left in the sprint to the finish?

I’ve felt rather sheepish on transfers polls this year. Word for word what Spiny said for me.

I’m certainly no authority on transfers usage but I’d agree those with 20 plus remaining may have missed out on opportunities to be further up the league. Purely based on my view that the FA cup games and x for 0’s in the run in don’t seem to have provided the points potential they they seemed to 3/4 years ago.

I've still got 20 left but the 20 I have used have all been on midfield and attack.

Strict Sheff U block that hasn't needed a single tweak.

Hard to get into the mentality of burning more on less positions but I'm giving it a go. Got 2 letting me down so they may go soon to leave me on 18.

I'm around the same as Spiny and Jamjack but would rather not reveal an exact amount for fear of others reading. I'm hoping just about enough to get me to the finish though do have plans for a tinker this weekend. I really feel like I've wasted a lot this season, particularly in the run up to Christmas but there you go.

These days having transfers to spare seems to do very little for me as I tend to be a bit rubbish using them.

I had far more success when we had fewer of them.

I totally agree. I get myself mixed up in wild flights of fancy and cunning transfer plans which 9/10 end in disaster.

I started quite well this season, but the more transfers I used the worse I did. Still have just under half of them left but don't see how best to use them. Maybe just waiting to start again next season is the way to go!

I agree in wishing we had fewer, but can't see them reducing the amount we get.

Ok fair enough, I was just surprised that you’d not use more earlier. Gonna be hard to get a lot of value from 21 transfers this late in the season.

Yeah I've lost a bit of interest really. This one isn't in a cash league (or any league for that matter) so I've left it bumping along and it's surprised me by keeping a decent position. I'll take on every 2 for 0 and have a decent presence for the cup final etc.

My rule of thumb on this is that if you have one to use every week then you are doing ok. Anything more than that is a bonus. I have 10 left with about 12 weeks to go in my one and only team. I'm not happy about that, but it is what it is...
