I'd be surprised if there's too many remaining outside block comps. I started the season with more Liverpool defence coverage but lack of cleanies and pricing soon had me shifting the money into mid/attack. Not sure I'll go back.happyhoppy wrote: ↑02 Jan 2020, 22:24The Liverpool blocks will be coming up strong now.Darbyand wrote:5 clean sheets in a row.

But Gutty for one has stormed up the 25s/10s and egg leagues to name 3 that I’m in.

Had watered down my Liverpool block (mostly with Leicester so not bad of late) but finally back to keeper+3 last night and now up into top 10k. Was a lot further back.
3rd highest scorer in 2-footed league this week..... behind Gutty's 2 teams which maybe have similar red legs!

Feels like it’s too late but once they start they go on and on. I almost did some last night but thought I’d wait until after the cup match to see if they progress. Also their run isn’t the greatest just now but they’re probably fixture proof. 19th looks a good bet with the extra game too on the 29th.

Re: TFF chit chat 1st and 2nd January
The thing is, I watched the recent Liverpool vs Wolves game (1-0) and it felt that in the last 10-15 minutes, wolves had tons of shots. Isn't it common for Liverpool defence to let one through near the end? Maybe it's different now they have Gomez playing well.
Personally I'm not sure I want to risk 3 LFC defenders, especially due to their cost.
Will VVD provide the attacking returns needed to de-risk the possible lack of cleanies?

Does nobody think the Liverpool rotation risk has to increase from here? If they win their game in hand they go 16 points clear. To give themselves a chance of doing the league and CL double, Klopp will must being thinking about the squad now.
