Week 17 – Unbeaten Liverpool go 10 points clear

It was top v. bottom at Anfield and 2 goals from Mo Salah saw the reds home, although Saido Mane should have had a goal, but his armpit was judged to be offside .... another shocking VAR decision . Apparently, Liverpool are after Takumi Minamino from Salzburg – so they could then potentially play a midfield of .... Gini, Mini, Mane & Mo (‘courtesy’ of Jim Beglin).

Second-placed Leicester slipped up at home to Norwich (1-1) so Klipperty’s boys extend their lead to 10 points. Man City won 3-0 at hapless Arsenal, the Gunners slipping down to 10th in the table. Chelsea lost for the 4th time in 5 league games (0-1 v. Bournemouth) and are now 6 points behind City, but still hang on to 4th spot.

At the bottom, Watford have still only won once this season and are on 9 points, Norwich are next on 12 and Southampton lost 0-1 v. West Ham and have slipped into the bottom 3, on 15 points.

Only three players made it into double figures this week ....
