Just a goal bound shot isn’t it? Not a pass.

FPL are saying first shot was blocked by Tarkowski which would rule out KCs.

i think we saw an example today of where the tff system for awarding KC has gone to pot. personally i miss the good old days of sensible OFL assists, but we have what we have now i guess and we are aware of how it works. back in the day before tff banned me from their fb group, presumably for posting links to inconsistencies (i was never given a reason). they argued KC were a better system than assists as they gave credit for secondary passes creating openings for goals. that is of course no longer the case and now they are just secondary passes. if you think about the lukaku presumed +3 it was clearly a key contribution splitting the defence with a key pass. then look at the presumed luiz +3 for a random short pass in the middle of the field to rudiger who's shot from distance is parried for alonso to score. i actually prefer the system as it is now because we know it isn't key contributions any more but just the pass before the assist. at least it has the merit of being clear even if it is a nonsense, whereas i wouldn't trust tff to sensibly define a true KC and fear we would end up with loads of inconsistencies. give me OFL assists any day and if you must their quality control re 2nd assists. what do others feel about the system and what would they prefer?

I put Rashford in a few today. More for the Huddersfield and Cardiff games but if it is his groin, then that’s bigger it. Image

Yes, definitely limped off. Might just be a tweak but the way it’s gone for me this year, he’ll probably miss the rest of the season.

I did Son yesterday and Rashford + Pogba mainly for Huddersfield and Cardiff, has not started well and if Rashford is injured it's is annoying.

On the KC point I broadly agree Andy. A large chunk of 2nd KCs (and a fair amount of first ones) are a nonsense. Fantasy Football was always about goals and clean sheets but now you get silly scenarios like a 25 goal a season penalty box striker outscored by a 10 goal midfielder who "generally gets involved in the build-up". Of course it's the same for everyone and requires a different skill in team selection....I just don't like it :D

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk ... l-16193899 even in the men 'the ball ricocheted in the area and landed at Aguero's feet who's shot goal-wards was cleared away by Matt Lowton on the line, but not before it had already fully crossed over.' if you had a team of ederson - TAA robertson walker laporte doherty - mane bernardo sterling - aguero jiminez i am guessing you would be very pleased to see salah's assist chalked off and bernardo's blocked pass belatedly given one ;)

5 hours in the garden (can’t stand up straight - gardening rather than beer unfortunately) and my reward is to tuning in to the Sunday fantasy news of very few points and another short lived transfer in Rashford. I’ll actually be glad when my last couple of transfers are done....

It’s got Rashford down as shoulder injury on TFF but he definitely looked to be limping.

Fingers crossed he’s back for next Sunday.

Low (and my top team  ) 89

You lot must have done better because most of my teams went backwards.

Think I can explain this. With the luck I seem to be bringing to transfers this will most likely be a broken neck (just feels like the shoulder). That would most likely cause him to limp a bit too.

Agree I probably should have used my transfers earlier or just not bothered. My last 3 of Hazard, Laca and Rash could certainly have been used to better effect a month ago. I’m learning .....very slowly....
