7 so feels worth it given the fixtures and two extra games over Brooks (one of Brooks games is Spurs as well). Agree with your point in general though, getting Son (as part of a daisy) midweek might make more difference but not sure I'll find more opportunities in the next few weeks. Plus Son may be rested, lol.Maldini wrote: ↑20 Apr 2019, 17:05Personally, I wouldn’t be wasting transfers on enablers this late in the season but if you’ve plenty in the bank, Southampton have decent fixtures so might be worth a punt.SPR wrote:I thought about Deulofeu but thought the next few will be harder for him.

I'm on this, but really only Son seems worth it and will need to daisy as I'm not convinced I should miss any games of the City or Liverpool forwards (one of which would need to go to get him in).happyhoppy wrote: ↑20 Apr 2019, 17:07

Think I was looking at MC at MU as a nil return so thinking Spurs has 2 nice home games.

Certainly worth a punt TBF, with Son anyway. Not sure I'd drop Sterling or Aguero for anyone else. Spurs rotate defenders too much to pick one of them.

Wouldn't mind Rashford getting a small hamstring injury today - nothing serious you understand, just a little tightness that keeps him out of the derby .... and maybe Pogba too.

Two changes for Toffees, three for United
Everton v Man Utd (13:30 BST)
Marco Silva makes two changes to his Everton side that were beaten at Craven Cottage last time out. Michael Keane replaces Phil Jagielka at the heart of defence, while Morgan Schneiderlin comes in for the suspended Andre Gomes.
Everton XI: Pickford, Keane, Zouma, Digne, Coleman, Gueye, Schneiderlin, Bernard, Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison
Subs: Stekelenburg, Jagielka, Walcott, Tosun, McCarthy, Davies, Lookman
Manchester United, meanwhile, have made three changes to the XI that lost at the Nou Camp in midweek. Diogo Dalot replaces Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic is named in midfield instead of Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku is preferred to Jesse Lingard in attack.
Manchester United XI: De Gea, Lindelof, Jones, Smalling, Dalot, Matic, Fred, Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Lukaku
Subs: Romero, Sanchez, Mata, Lingard, Pereira, Young, McTominay

I see the Man U kit man left a home shirt in with the away shirts when he did the weekly wash.
1-0 Richalison (Calvert, Lewin, prob. Digne)
Lovely finish but I'm surprised those are allowed and not penalised for high kicking.

Olè might very well be at the wheel but he appears to be steering them in the same direction as Jose now he’s received the Woodward seal of approval.

Re: TFF chit chat 20th, 21st and 22nd April
Big decision or not for me today, all musings much appreciated from all. Schlupp knackered for the season, last transfer and it's either VvD (thank you Hoppy!) today or Laporte (should have been yesterday if so but didn't see the injury update).
Liverpool have the easier run-in in theory but City have the cup final extra game and also not too bad after Utd. Thoughts anyone?
Or of course hang on to it and do nowt but I'm not inclined to do that tbh. Also think my 2nd place chaser in my sl has VvD so would cover him off.

@ LenH
How good is the rest of your team? If you can stretch to VvD can you afford Bilva?
Good job you are too late to get a Utd defender
2-0 Siggy (Gueye, unlikely Bernard)

Rest of the team is ok and relatively settled I feel. VvD woudl mean a full Lvpl block. I can afford Bilva and hadn't even thought of that! Maybe better option for a little more City coverage (only have the main two others).

Hopefully they can bounce back in midweek to help out.....SPR wrote:4-0! I hope it isn't a sign that the team has turned against him.
Liverpool make three changes for this afternoon’s Premier League clash with Cardiff City.
Roberto Firmino returns to lead the attack, while Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are restored in midfield.
Divock Origi, James Milner and Fabinho are named on the bench at the Cardiff City Stadium in the only alterations made to the team deployed in Porto in midweek.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Subs: Mignolet, Fabinho, Milner, Gomez, Sturridge, Shaqiri, Origi.
Thought Lovren was over his illness but not in squad. Maybe because Gomez also covers full back but Milner there too.
