me in most teams, including my best around place 200. I removed him before the previous round of FA cup games, and so far it has worked out, will wait until next FA cup passes to bring him back

Addressed to no one in particular. I didn’t think of it as being an offensive post.

Yes, the post is self promoting but most people do that so I don’t have a problem with it. Not do I only post my good choices but also my bad ones as evidenced by my thread team in the rate my team section.

Firmino was dreadful last night. Tempted to ditch him for Aguero tomorrow but Firmino at home to Bournemouth Saturday is putting me off.

Firmino, this season, has been poor with the odd hat trick style performance thrown in. Not a consistent run of 7s like a Son or Lukaku (when starting)type player.

Talking of mediocre...

My best team had climbed nicely til Aguero struck and it did a stone impression - but last night's mass of 2 pointers and FAndersen's 5 got its score to 94 which must be about as par/mediocre/flatlining as it comes rising just 8 places (1823rd  1815th).

This was a post aimed at a slightly-above-mediocre audience to make them feel better.

Jiminez is on the bench tonight. Is it worth bringing him in on the basis that he may come on in the 2nd half?

If I didn't have him already and as Wolves play last next weekend I think I would give whoever is leaving your team their next game and then bring Jiminez in next Monday. You would have thought he wouldn't be needed, but then again after the first game with Shrewsbury.......

My dilemma is whether to replace Alonso with Doherty. Chelsea's next 3 games are Man C, Man U and Tottenham, while Wolves possibly have 5 games in that time and they look more likely to offer a clean sheet or two.

I wouldn't bank on Wolves keeping clean sheets

I brought Doherty in on Saturday in the hope he would play today and I was rewarded with an assist. I would get him in if I was you.

I agree with that, but Doherty has contributed well with goals and KCs. I note that since Week 14, Alonso has no goals and 1 KC, Doherty has managed 3 goals and 5 KCs.

I'm nearly convincing myself here

Put Doherty and Jimenez in on week 16. I am now starting to think that 2 from Wolves is not enough. Jota would be great if he stayed fit. Had him for the first 4 games of the season.

It comes from the first set-piece of the evening.
Shrewsbury can't clear their lines and Matt Doherty hacks it into the net.
The Premier League side lead within the first two minutes.

So no kc's it sounds like

Knackers. Totally forgot about the Wolves game tonight.

Would’ve brought a few Doherty’s in as well.

That equaliser makes me feel a little better though.

Is the Wolves game not on telly?
BT have got a game on with no TFF relevance. Weird.

On the plus side... 2 Shrewsbury goals and neither scored by Conor Coady.
