Thinking either Trippier or Laporte. But am I best off waiting till next weekend to bring someone else in?
Similar. When is Mendy likely back?
Early Feb. But my patience won’t hold out till then and I’m assuming he’ll be rusty and potentially prone to pissing me off again by getting injured (again).

Not had any Spurs defenders so far, but their run looks good. Gut says Laporte
Haha- fair point! Although fed up with alonso I’m not sure I want to burn a transfer unless his ban is likely to occur. Are you shifting him anyway or in advance of a probable ban?

He was going anyway. Potential ban seals the deal

:D Nope

Mates league (been doing it for 5 years) 100 euro each and winner takes all. 11 people and currently leading it with 58 points

Dropped back a bit after the FA Cup weekend, but still very happy with that current position of top 500.

And re the mates leagues - mine's already all over, already way out in front :D 8-)

And re showing the position on the TFF summary page - yes, very much agree, such a stupid change

29>1296>1338

I seem to be holding station and floating around 1000-1300 every week. Also in a battle royale for my sl lead. I crept ahead by 3 points over the weekend. Had hoped for more but team news wasn't so kind.

42>1322 (navigates to leagues)>1856 Funny old week. Didn't feel that good but still went up a few places. Must be lots of Liverpool heavy defences out there! 18 transfers left.

Will Aguero start tonight and against Chelsea?

Well there’s your answer. He has. Whether he plays both games is another thing.

I need to make two subs to bring him back in.

Alonso to Doherty
Salah to Aguero

Really not sure about it tbh

I’d do Firmino to Aguero though.

Going to do Firmino to Aguero but need to put Doherty in for Alonso, Luiz, Richarlison or Anderson to fund it. Which one goes?

Alonso.

Is he a must have though (Aguero that is)? Only recently took him out.

I’m conflicted

Not having Aguero for his back to back hatties hurt me, and I've had my super league lead slashed, but am still top by about 30 pts.

I'm going to do Hazard  Aubameyang this weekend which gives me 9 players this weekend, which I'm OK with, but if Jota and Doherty miss out then I'm down to 7, which makes me uneasy so I'm hoping they pull through.

After the Hazard out transfer I'll have 15 transfers left for the run in.

Was hoping for some help guys.

I’ve lost my season long lead in my mate’s SL. Down by 23 now. Main problem is that I have 11 transfers left and an itchy finger.

Trying to find and edge to make up ground.

My latest ruse is to do Rashford for Son (if I’ve read it right 6 games for Utd to 3 for Spurs). What’s people’s thoughts. Should I sit tight or take the plunge.

Depends what other players you have in your team, but moving to Rashford seemed like a good move to me last week and I've not been proven wrong yet.

I'm with Mins, seems like a decent plan. Extra games and Son may well score less now Kane is back.

I have a slight conundrum also.

I took out Salah for Jiminez and the 3-0. He should be coming back in today against Utd. Jimenez of course didn't do much but got a goal yesterday. But they have Huddersfield then Cardiff next so I'm tempted to leave in longer.

So my options are:
1. Straight swap, Jiminez back to Salah.
2. Anderson to Salah but this would require an extra sub of Luiz to Doherty (which I should have done yesterday!)
3. Sit tight and hide behind the sofa.

Thoughts fiso? Anyone in the same/similar dilemma?

Thanks for the advice. Think I’ll go for it.

I have Aguero and Jimenez. No spurs coverage though.

My reticence is around number of transfers I have left.

That’s a tough one.

I’d hold Jimenez, as you say fixtures are good.

Anderson went from mine a few weeks ago.

Doherty is a no brainer for me. But Luiz has potential.

I’ve gone Mane instead of Salah (which I’m waiting for it to bite me on the arse as a decision).

I’d do the double sub if I had to choose of your 3 options

Need a Laporte replacement and have £3.9m to spend. Either a defender or midfield. Can't see past Man City in terms of next few games but Stones only option in that price bracket. Is he likely to be rotated or is there anyone else worth considering? Have TAA/Robertson/Docherty as rest of back 3.

Is the More button on the team page new? Either way a welcome addition as gives position without having to go burrowing into your leagues 👍
