3.4m left for a mid or def??

Hey,

I have 1 player left to pick and 3.4m for either a mid or defender?

Current formation is 3-5-2, but can revert to 4-4-2.

I already have Jota.

Suggestions please??

Plenty of cheap defenders out there especially if you haven't already got one. Wolves and Palace are proving popular.

S.Ward for Burnley, looks a decent shout at 3M. However it does hes injured on TFF, but I cant seem to see any news on this injury anywhere else.

Does anyone know if he has an injury or not?

Defenders
Lowton 3.2 seems to go unnoticed
Van Aanholt 3.2m provides a goal threat
Duffy 3m should play decent price

Midfielders
Cairney 3.4 Liked what I saw of him last season
Schurrle 3.4 Could be a bargain
Kenedy 3.2 Did well for Newcastle last year

Gone for Bertrand (3.4) myself; reasonable fixtures for SOU over the first 5 games and should get some KC's thrown in there, gives a chance for other candidates to make themselves known!

FFS have him at 75% (likelihood of playing) - not seen much on the alleged injury either but not really looked. I put him in the FISO 2019 team (plug, plug) so expect him to be fit by new year!
