A good question and one that's been bothering me of late...

Those 5% are going to be very disappointed because he won't be anywhere near the first team. Coady or Boly the best options for Wolves defenders.

I noticed this .. can only assume they will be playing with 10 men, spreading the saving on bigger guns that they could not afford without. Risky.

Coady is captain and will start every game and is only 0.4 more.

I think some are confusing him with Ebanks-Blake. I would also pick a bargain defender if I thought he was a striker

Otto/Jonny 2.6m and Doherty 2.9m look like the other Wolves defensive options, possibly playing as wingbacks. Saiss (listed a MID in TFF) looks like he might be the third CB in a 343 formation. If they're half decent they are going to be a good block defence option with everyone including GK at 3m or less.

Would be pretty certain Ewbanks-landell selections will be teams set up for attempt at goals prize. Not sure it’s the right way to go though as for a touch more there are several players who might get afew goals and maybe worth sacrificing the extra money for that possibility

More likely numpties who can't budget properly elsewhere because they want all the stars (what would they be like if TFF actually had a proper tight budget??). The only 2.0 midfielder is also in a few teams.

I was guessing he was a place holder while people picked teams from the start - then find a enabler before first KO to fit the budget. I may be too generous here.

If you create a new team and keep pressing clear/ auto complete, there is a pattern of repeating players that may be part of the answer.

Walker appears frequently as well.

So player often appears in auto complete team, the not so knowledgable then pick a team and see 2.0 player at 5%, think he's popular and pick him as well compounding the said issue.

Yes I think once they make the most picked player list it definitely creates the impression he is a secret weapon.

I was pretty sure I was going to get a 2.0 wing back who played week in week out with the odd assist and goal, back to the drawing board 😉

I have him in all my teams to keep his percentage up. Hopefully a couple of noobs in my works SL will dive in and waste a transfer week 1.

His percentage will have dropped as he has been booted from my Eggcup team which he starred in when it was an auto select.
