I am actually pretty happy. Last season I just wasted them all. I don't like having 40. Still think I will finish much higher. Never had Lukaku, Aguero or KDB and hardly had Kane and Sterling. I always do it the hard way. Stubborn so and so

That's impressive scoring without some of the bigger hitters.

TEAM NEWS āš½ Burnley vs Chelsea

Burnley XI | Pope, Lowton, Long, Tarkowski, Ward, Lennon, Cork, Westwood, Gudmundsson, Barnes, Wood.

Chelsea XI | Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Rudiger, Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Emerson, Pedro, Morata, Giroud

In totally unrelated news, Burnley, 5 wins in a row, nearly 4/1 to win against that side...

After yesterday's Man U team annoyed me, today we have Hazard, Christensen and Willian on the bench! Christensen was my recent acquisition in place of Jones

Only kidding mate. If you can finish in the top 1K with a single entry, you've done pretty well.

Never been a fan of tortoise hugging though.

Cheers. I am very patient when I know they are quality players like Eriksen for instance, never sold him.

Snap! šŸ˜” Can only hope for a Lukaku like introduction late on so need Burnley to keep it tight or maybe just score!

Azpilicueta tempting but Chelsea haven't exactly kept it tight recently.

Agreed. Iā€™m almost tempted by smalling tbh. I often get burnt with all this 5 for 2 and reflect that form is often as good a reason to select someone.

That said whatever I do tends to be wrong

Azpilicueta has scored more goals (one) in his last 6 games than Chelsea have clean sheets in the same period (zero). He's more of a goal threat!

Just heard on The BBC about the proposed staggered winter break for next season. That could burn a few transfers up.

Think positive. The more points Chelsea keep getting, the more Man U, Liverpool and Spurs need to get. Keeps everybody simmering along rather than having 10 dead rubbers every weekend.

A good score of 19 last night moves me in the top 100 for the first time ever. Would be delighted to finish there.

well done mate, still can't get out of the 300s this year .... a few weeks to go yet though so I live in hope.

Yes, my best team seems to have been flatlining around 250th for quite some time now.
Been burning a fair few transfers to make that push for the top 100 but to no avail.

well having got into the top 100 at Christmas And hanging on I finally fell out of it yesterday. It's been a long lingering decline.

Thanks. All the best to your teams. Yeah, it's been difficult to break into the top 100. A top 100 finish for me would be a great achievement. Looking at my team and with only a handful of transfers left, its going to be tough to stay there for long but overall I have enjoyed TFF so far this season. Might do a review here at the end of the season.

I've crept up slowly over the last few weeks - now 350th. About 40pts off the top 100. Not sure I can do that even though I'm fairly happy with my team and am not quite on fumes yet transfer wise.
