Ah well, the inevitable clean sheet happened. Here's hoping others can rack up some points while they're sunning themselves next weekend..

Not looked at the odds pre-sacking I'd say your odds are a lot better! Surely clear favourites now?
Silva? Hughes? Surely someone lined up before Sunday?

Edit: You are 11/10, we are 23/10

I’ve wanted Silva for ages. Even for 8 games he’ll achieve more than Pellegrino all season. Worst manager in our history. And before anyone says yes it was right to sack Puel. It’s just a shame we faffed about and Watford got him first. The next Pochettino. Which means we’ll get Hughes. Lol.

Yeah I remember your Puel comment at the time! Koeman it is then

Reports suggesting Kane will be out for several weeks.

Definitely a transfer out it seems.

Who's everyone thinking to replace him with?

Kane supposedly out until May according to "reports". Take with a pinch of salt for now.

Had a feeling it was worse than they were letting on. Brought in a mixture of City players for him yesterday night.

None of which were David Silva.

The Kane injury makes things a little more interesting. With plenty of transfers left I don't mind if the players start dropping like flies.

Not sure if it will be that interesting if everyone gets Son and Jesus in (my obvious first thought).

The only way for TFF to become really interesting during the remainder of the season is if Man City wrap up the title very soon and Pep goes rotation mad.

Makes Son must have, I’d say?

Leaves Jesus behind Aguero, Firmino & Lukaku for me

I'm wondering whether I've got the minerals to ignore Aguero/Jesus altogether (probably not but...)

Isn't Aguero due back after the international break? You'd think (though who can second guess Pep?) that you'd want 2 strikers fit and firing for your main aim now, the Champions League. Therefore there's surely a chance they'll share game time. Looking at the fixtures they play pretty much weekend/midweek for the rest of the season if they progress..
Everton, CL quarter, Man Utd, CL quarter, Spurs, (possible midweek Brighton rearrangement), Swansea, CL semi, West Ham, CL semi, Huddersfield (free midweek or Brighton if required) Southampton.

My question is whether I'd want a rotated Aguero (he's still first choice) ahead of other strikers..I'm not sure I do, however could my heart take it if he starts v West Ham for example??

I do wonder if we can expect to see a “reaction” in the league that throws off some fantasy points or more of the same. If I where a betting man...

Giving Walker and Otamendi a Premier league break from time to time would be nice - you'd think he'd want to keep Danilo/Stones/Laporte a bit more involved and the former two fresh if they do go all the way in Europe.

Returning to training in April could mean just about anything in terms of actual first team action. I doubt very much he will be starting a game much before the end of the month. Even if he starts c.14th that is 3 games out.

Leaving my team.

At least then we'd get animated post-match interviews :)
