I hate losing games that way, loads of possession, on top - even with 10 men - and an opposition who scores with one of their 2 shots on target
That said, the game has always been about scoring goals .... and we didn't.
Red card? Maybe orange - but no major complaints.
Aguero ban for striking an urchin .... I've seen the footage and I'd say no, but like the red card - I've seen them given.
City fans' behaviour after the match (tearing down hoardings and throwing them onto the pitch) - disgraceful. You learn more about players/managers/fans when they lose games than you do when they win them - this was not a good day for us.

High: 12
Low: 10

My scoring is so painfully slow.

Out for the night and missed everything (other than making my Aguero transfers unfortunately). I’ve only seen the Wigan goal. Does anyone know what Walker was trying to do? I can’t explain that....

There was another Wigan player behind him initially, he knew he was offside so he let the ball run behind him but obviously didn't know Grigg was there aswell. Bizarre and crap defending though.

You’ve got a good eye! There is also a chance you may also be giving Walker the benefit of the doubt. A £50m defender should be switched on enough to think that way - even if the execution was severely lacking
I’d have been spitting feathers if it had cost me CS points.
Agree the result was really good for football but maybe not for those trying to chase the city heavy fantasy leaders. Focusing on the league and Champions League (post Sunday) feels manageable without too much rotation.
I never seem to make up much ground with FA Cup partipant heavy teams

Not sure I see it that way. The league is in the bag and after Sunday their focus will swing heavily to the Champions League beyond Basel. They've got a big squad to keep ticking over, I can easily see their most important players being used sparingly in the league.

That’s going to interesting I think. Common sense says you will be right but at both Barca and Bayern, Pep seemed to keep his stars ticking over all the time rather than rotating so I’m not sure. That said the EPL is way more physically intense than either of those leagues. Hope you are right!Darbyand wrote: ↑20 Feb 2018, 14:17Not sure I see it that way.
