I've 16 transfers left and am having a right old battle at the top of my league? Worth a dash on Lukaku for a 2-0 or 3-0 depending on team news?

Also it's possible and very likely that a Man U defender could score more points than their strikers over the next two matches

Could do with a return from Wilson in this game!

Tempted by Valencia, but I feel defenders are more likely to miss FA Cup.

Having pondered the Kane -> Lukaku switch earlier in the thread, I hadn't considered Sanchez, and as has been pointed out, Lukaku didn't start the Cup games (but did pick up points from the bench). Now leaning towards Sanchez, especially as his low ownership make him more of a differential. Hmmm.

Shocking from Bournemouth as they cough up possession on the edge of their own area, the ball is worked to Aaron Mooy, he rolls into the path of Steve Mounie and he clips home left-footed from the edge of the area.

Mounie (Mooy) seems so obvious really

IF he starts in the Cup. If he doesn't and Aguero does then it is a 1 for 0. Going full length it is a 3 for 1 where 1 for each is a risky cup game (so could be anything from a 2 for 1 to a 3 for 0)

Arsenal and Crystal Palace (if you have them...) are the real 2/3 for 0s.

Or a better use of transfers might just be to daisy chain cup starters (Che-MU-Spurs-MC + other 'lesser' teams). Whatever I do will be wrong though.

So I see Jones is straight back in...

So thinking, Aguero & KDB to Sanchez & Valencia. Valencia will probably stay for rest of season and someone else will be ejected to get KDB back.

Just looked at fixtures and City do seem to have ample rest between upcoming fixtures so don't know whether rest is necessary...

Well having looked at the last City cup line up I am sitting on my hands (even where I could afford Sterling to Lukaku).

You go Lukaku, I'll go Sanchez and then at least one of us may make the right choice - or they may both be poo!

True. It was a completely different back 4 against Yeovil

..., there could be another Aguero 'haul' at Wigan, transferring him out before then could end in tears

Q. Lukaku or Sanchez?
A. Mounie

On 15pts so far, luckily only owned by 0.5% of folks. Hopefully none just below me!

Nothing new there then, I can see David Silva back and KDB rested (maybe), Aguero starts and (hopefully) comes off when the game is won - he's probably loving every game at the moment

What about Kane? I think this brings the thread full circle

I'm guessing one of Son or Kane will miss the game and I have both...

I think city and spurs seem to be the 2 that are taking the cup seriously. Add into the mix chelsea and united have midweek games a few days later and id say they are more likely to rest players. City and spurs have a week to rest after

If he starts, you just bring him back in? No harm done.

He must get a rest sometime though. Especially with the CL back up and running.

Hedged my bets with My top 3 teams. Brought Lukaku in one, Sanchez in another and did nout with the third (my top team).its working at the moment. Man U not playing well so I'm both worried and optimistic at the same time 😎
