TFF chit chat 24th, 25th and 26th November
FRIDAY 24TH NOVEMBER
West Ham 20:00 Leicester
The FNF sees the Foxes visit the Hammers. This is Moyes' first home game in charge and he will be hoping to start with a win. Hernandez probably out so Big Andy to start up top. Leicester are on a good run with both Vardy and Mahrez looking good.
SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER
Crystal Palace 15:00 Stoke
Straight into the 3 o'clock kick-offs with Palace versus the Namby Pamby Pottery Boys (feat. Big Jese just to the left of the dug out). Big Benteke is back for Palace, will he make an impact up front? Stoke's Shaqiri is starting to show some form.
Man Utd 15:00 Brighton
They lost in midweek but Man United are usually pretty good at the Stadium of Lucky Clover. New boys Brighton are probably punching above their weight but will have a challenge on their hands today as Utd have Pogba and Big Zlatan back. Phil Jones still out
Newcastle 15:00 Watford
At St James Park, Watford are the visitors. Watford are doing exceptionally well this season and have Super Enablers Richarlison and Doucoure to thank. Newcastle are sat in mid-table and even gave Big Dwight Gayle a start last time out.
Swansea 15:00 Bournemouth
The Welsh Wizards from Wales welcome Bournemouth to the Liberty. Tammy Abraham is nursing a bad back so is 50/50 for this one. Big Callum Wilson knocked in a hat-trick last time out for the Cherries.
Tottenham 15:00 West Brom
Big Harry Kane will be hoping to blow some doors off today and with managerless West Brom his wishes are likely to come true though with Pullis gone WBA might prove a slightly tougher opposition than expected.
Liverpool 17:30 Chelsea
Saturday's late match sees Chelsea visiting Anfield. Chelsea had a good result in mid-week but Liverpool were pegged back after being 3 goals up. Expect a plethora of goals in this one, with Salah, Hazard, Morata and Big Phil Coutinho all featuring.
SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER
Southampton 13:30 Everton
Sunday's early match sees the Toffees travel to deepest, darkest Hampshire to take on the Saints. Naughty Niasse is banned due to his diving escapades. Southampton are a shadow of their former selves but still have Big Fraser Foster between the sticks.
Burnley 14:00 Arsenal
At Fortress Turf Moor the Wenger Boys are coming to play. Sanchez appears to be rediscovering his old form and Ozil is playing well. Burnley may have any one of Big Chris, Big Sam (Vokes not Allardyce) or Big Ashley in attack
Huddersfield 16:00 Man City
Last but by no means least, the Terriers face Man City at the Kirklees. City may play Jesus or Aguero up front in this one but expect Big Kevin along side Leroy in midfield. ‘Uddersfield started the season really well but have gradually faded and will need to be on top form to avoid a drubbing.

Thanks morganb and Happy Thanksgiving all! Yeh whatever, it's just Chrimbo practice as far as I'm concerned.
I posted this in the Jones injury thread but that is a separate part of the forum so will redo here. So reports saying Jones not back this weekend either. This is getting suspiciously like a who knows when scenario and could easily drag on and on. I'm getting v tempted to move on. Obviously as soon as I do he'll be back so take that in to account. What are other holders thinking?

Nice one Morgan. So the week starts at 3pm Saturday?
Fraser Foster, new keeper for Southampton? No price on TFF yet, could be a bargain
Would like more news on Jones. Last week I didn't care, now I'm interested but not yet definitely moving on.

Not sure what to do about Jones. He's been flagged/signposted as injured all season anyway. Can't make up my mind whether to ship him out for good, ship him out and have him back later or just hold on for a while.

So they are trying to cross a keeper who used to be good and kept clean sheets with a keeper who used to be good and kept clean sheets with the hope of getting a keeper who actually is good and can keep clean sheets.

Thinking about moving Jones out and wondered whether Moreno's Liverpool might fit the bill. He's 0.1 cheaper than Jones, is Liverpool's joint-leading points scoring defender, and has featured in Liverpool's last 7 league games. And allied to this, after this weekend's Chelsea game, Liverpool have 5 very decent looking fixtures...

By all means take Jones out, but for a Liverpool defender did you see how Moreno performed the other night
To be fair I suspect Liverpool with be tighter/ish against Chelsea but I'm not at all convinced by their potential for clean sheets

Liverpool have a surprising record for clean sheets at home, but still Moreno isnt a risk I'd be taking. Robertson or Milner could be in at any point.

Re: TFF chit chat 24th, 25th and 26th November
Moreno was a good(ish) buy and Liverpool do have a good CS record this season (Note good not great. Great at home - just 1 conceded??. Poor away).
Note the use of "was" - note only is it Chelsea next but he was back to his appalling worst in Sevilla in midweek and got hooked for Milner (who has been told he won't be a full back). My money is on it being Robertson's berth soon. Maybe after solid, dependable Milner v Chelsea??? Even if Moreno keeps his place then surely he is on a last warning.

Thinking Lukaku to Hazard on Wednesday. Would give me Hazard v Swansea, Newcastle, West Ham and Huddersfield whereas Lukaku plays Arsenal and Man City in the same period.

I think you may not be alone in jumping from Lukaku on Wednesday. My only question is Hazard or Morata (or given Chelsea's excellent festive fixtures, both?)

Both for me! Is Christensen a regular starter now or keeping spot warm for Luiz?

No love for Chelsea defenders.
Although Christensen is a bit risky as Luiz could come back.
I got Alonso and Hazard already in my best team, just got to do move from Lukaku to Morata soon.

Thinking Davies to Walker/Alonso after Spurs play at 3pm aswell. Can't decide which one?!

I look at United differently. The tougher the opponent the bigger Jose’s bus. I’m keeping my defenders.

I'm the same, Valencia is season long for me barring injury or suspension. Spurs' run is decent but it's annoying waiting to see if Davies is going to be starting every week. He will be rotated whereas Walker and Alonso are nailed and both have good fixtures.Jamjack wrote: ↑24 Nov 2017, 20:02I look at United differently. The tougher the opponent the bigger Jose’s bus. Any 2nd KC on the Leicester goal? (Not that you'd know a game was in progress on this thread).
