FISO World Cup Headline Comp
Now then, what you do is pick three potential World Cup headlines (that relate directly to games) and grade them:
My picks for example:
1. Brazil Nuts (Brazil win WC or have two players sent off in a game).
2. Urug why? ( England lose to Uruguay or Suarez eats someone again).
3. Boss-nia (Bosnia win their group).
Basically, you get 5 points if your number 1 is printed in a British newspaper, 10 points if your number 2 is printed and 20 points for your number 3.
It doesn't have to be for the reason (in the brackets) just the headline.

Brazilian whacks. Footage emerges of Neymar pleasuring himself in an alleyway
Ur-a-gay. Footage emerges of Suarez watching in the same alleyway
Chile con Carnal knowledge. Footage emerges of Alexis Sanchez doing up his flies as he walks out of the same alleyway
Etc.

England Italy ....in the Jungle must already be penciled in for the Sun:
Tumble in the Jungle (player dives for a vital pen or card)
Stumble in the Jungle (England lose), see also Bungle in the Jungle for big mistakes etc.
Failing that Manaus against Boys (decisive win either way),

No headline from me, but picture of Hodgson with Carmen Miranda-style fruit headgear a near certainty following loss to Costa Rica (needing only a point to go through).

You going to be kicking yourself when a Joe Hart error costs us qualification, and one of the tabloids goes with 'Fumble In The Jungle'.

Re: FISO World Cup Headline Comp
'Klose, But No Cigar' - Miroslav Klose record breaking 47th world cup goal is not enough to save his country, as the Germans miss out on a place in the world cup final.
'Pirlo de Janeiro' - Andrea Pirlo single-handedly destroys England, despite never really looking like he's even trying. Or needing to leave the centre circle.
'Jozy Out-De-Door' - USA are knocked out of the world cup on pens as Jozy Altidore balloons the decisive penalty over the bar.

As I don't read the papers (not even in Smith's), have there been any quality back-page headlines yet?

"Daylight Ribery" - Through a little known loophole and a quicker than expected recovery things are looking brighter for Frank Ribery as he joins his French team mates to the annoyance of the Swiss. He could start tomorrow.
"Are you Blind ref?", World Cup official gets mistaken for Dutch defender.
"La Isla, Benitez?", Rafa reveals he was offered the chance to sign the Chilean world cup defender when manager of Liverpool
My work here is done
