I've been Silent bob since pipsuite. I thought it was hilarious, especially since php allowed an avatar. Admin keeps banning him however, lol. No point keeping it a secret anymore.
Wish you hadn't told us :( Some of the mystique has gone now.
Im the type who has to know. Im glad you told us, I had no idea who was behind that  Im too jumpy to have secrets around the place.

Sorry folks, admin didnt like the blank posts, so I tried to keep the blank posting infrequent, and believe it or not, relevant. Jezsters comments on Silent bob being deactivated for example prompted me to attempt another one on this thread, but he has been deactivated again.

Thats a shame, the blank posts were always well placed and did add to the thread.

In order to communicate a message its not always necassary to use words.

Silent Bob can be amusing but it can also be irritating if enough people take it up as some sort of post-modern ironic retort to the idiocy of other posters - think where it might end up?

Also it would be a quick and easy way to become a 'Power Poster'...

Silent Bob only posted when posts had become circular and were not going anywhere (hence the irony) or needed to be cooled (raised a smile).

If he had posted too oftent he joke would heva fallen flat. The beauty of Bob was that he did NOT post that often the the extent that every time he did post i chuckled and thought 'i'd forgotten about him!'

There are posters who pst far more often than Bob and have considerably less to say

Wouldn't it be funny if someone was using murf, thelip and mad as alter egos! Coming to think of it I could well be the only poster on this website and CK himself may be playing all the other members

What is interesting is that BBB pops up with a comment or two about aliases.

Didn't BBB turn out to be the same person as Melvster?

Something very strange is happening here. I'm trying to type the name of an old poster and it's posting as mog.

I'm going to try it in in caps: MELVSTER

As far as I was aware BBB was his friend. Anyway they're both happy on their own forum which, given the trouble BBB was causing me in the pipsuite days, is a relief.

He obviously wasn't quite bad enough to get his name added to the swear filter though

Given his name, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to tell hugh jarse to "go f*** yourself*?

Sorry I've been away for a while (busy not prison) - who is Norma? Is this someone's alter ego? I find Norma's posts increasingly offensive, particularly to newbies... :(
