Does anybody know whether you can take "Mug Shots" (dried noodle based meal in a packet suitable for vegetarians, not photo's of criminals) into the USA for personal use?
Cheers.

Should be fine, but just declare them if you're not sure and they'll have a look and just wave you through. If you declare, the worst that can happen is they take them off you. If not they can fine you. If they're veggie then you should be fine.
If they check that is. Flew into MIA last Thursday and they didn't even collect the customs forms. Just had a sniffer dog, and I doubt they'd sniff out dried noodles (although they are pretty good at picking things up - had a sniffer dog go mad at my bag in Santiago last year because I'd had a banana in it on the way to the airport and they could still smell it!)
Where are you going? They have supermarkets in the US you know

Could ask UK manufacturer if they know of any US customs restriction:

rules are here:
https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail ... Fibw%3D%3D
Technically you should declare any food for inspection or risk fines, but I bet most people don't bother for processed stuff.
re noodles - says that these are generally allowed:

Just stick it on the form and then when they ask (at customs clearance not at immigration control) tell them what it is and they probably won't even bother checking. Its not going to hold you up.Noodles and ramen that do not have meat or eggs in the spice packets
