It's an advent calendar- you are only supposed to open one window each day.

The 1 to 24 refer to days in December not the hours of the first!

Thought this was the launch of fantasy advent calendar for a second, but then could it ever match the madness that was 2009....

You could run a fantasy beer advent calendar competition as follows :

One of the lucky people with a Morrisons beer calendar could possibly list all the beers the calendar contains. Perhaps throw in a few made up names to add to the mystic?

FISO contestants then allocate a beer to each day from 1 to 24 (25?) Perhaps throw in a few made up names.

Throughout December, one of the lucky people with a Morrisons beer calendar opens a door and declares the contents

I'm sure it could be tickled up a bit to provide more excitement as we go along

More cheap and varied beer!

6 'craft' beers for £6 delivered.

Never hear of any of them but all at least 330ml and all at least 5%, mostly IPA/pale ale. And one is even named after an excellent old Maytals ska/reggae song covered by the Clash

Honest Brew link: https://honestbrew.co.uk/springspecialoffer/

found out via money Saving Expert (Martin Lewis) link: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals ... nt=5#51316

Hurry, website was very slow from excess traffic (I assume) when I was on there as it feature on MSE newletter today.

This offer ends at 11.59pm on Sun 7 Apr, or when all 1,250 boxes of six beers have gone, whichever's first. It's limited to one box per household.

The bundle's normally £25ish all-in and we found it’d cost about £17 plus delivery to buy the beers separately elsewhere online - so we reckon this deal should give you a tasty saving. HonestBrew says delivery should take three working days.

What's included?

All beers are 330ml bottles or cans. We’ve listed the contents of the bundle you'll get, as well as the price you’d pay for it or similar elsewhere, not including delivery.
•Magic Rock - The Fabulist IPA (6.2%) - norm £3.29 at Honest Brew
•Wild Beer Co - Fresh Pale Ale (5.5%) - £2.50 at Wild Beer Co
•Northern Monk x HonestBrew - Winter DDH Pale Ale (5.5%) - norm £2.47 at Honest Brew (based on a 4-pack)
•Puhaste - Lumepimedus White IPA (6.5%) - norm £3.29 at Honest Brew
•Pressure Drop - Pfaff Belgian Pale Ale (5.2%) - norm £2.79 at Honest Brew
•Siren - Broken Dream Breakfast Stout (6%) - £2.40 at Siren Craft Brew

Ordered these as a gift for a couple of people yesterday. Ordered around 10:15... one was delivered by lunchtime today! Better than amazon prime.

£1.25 a bottle compared to the original £1 a bottle offer.

I don’t need to cancel a subscription or anything daft do I?!

Thanks to this thread ordered the 12 for £15 Mixed Case on Sat and they arrived this pm. A varied selection at a bargain price ranging from 3.8% to 7.2%. I look forward to trying some of them - there is only one in the box that I know - Jarl from Fyne in Scotland.

Not bothering with a beer advent calender this year. I don't think morrissons are either, in fact they didn't seem to bother with black Friday at all. Maybe didn't turn out to be such a big money spinner as they thought.

There are some beer hawk one on offer I noticed today on Amazon's cyber monday  sale : https://www.amazon.co.uk/deal/417fff93/ ... D2JKVBR30D

Won't be bothering myself as my lovely daughter gave me an early Christmas present, a perfectdraft machine. :)

Cheers. There are a lot of 'craft' advent calendars around this year but no cheap ones I have seen so not bothering here either.

A bit early but....

Beer52 are advertsing one at £60 with "24 incredible craft beers from 14 different countries, and 16 different styles from 24 different breweries" and a free glass
https://www.beer52.com/adventmembers

Brewdog are at £50 with 24 different beers of theirs including plenty I haven't heard of including a "double punk".
https://www.brewdog.com/uk/advent-calen ... rQQAvD_BwE

Both free delivery.

I may get the Brewdog one as I like most of their stuff. Beer52 can be a bit too varied!

Well, I've ordered my Brewdog advent calendar (and got some cheap Punk & Duopolis whilst I was at it) - 10% off using WELCOME10 code (you may need to create an account as they sent me it after a few days and only applies to first order)

Yes the Brewdog box looks very appealing although it won’t fit in my fridge. I’m presuming these beers are at their best chilled? Pointless breaking the box up to get them in the fridge as it takes away the “adventness”

Fridge is too cold for anything apart from bog standard mass lagers IMO.
Keep mine in the Garage and reckon it tastes better than out of the fridge (in the cooler months anyway)

I tend to put mine in the fridge and take them out a tad early so they loose that stupidly cold effect.

Ruins the adventness a bit but you can still open the little window (/section of big box) and get a surprise in the morning before putting it in the fridge so it is cool by the time you come to drink it later that evening. Might not work for alcoholics who need to drink it sooner but a) they won't care about temperature and b) they don't usually stick to the one-a-day traditional rules of the advent calendar anyway.

Mine is arriving between 12:42 and 1:42 today. Only ordered it yesterday and they said 3-5 days!

8 weeks to go....

(EDIT - False alarm, delivery was rest of order except the advent calendar!)
