Nice place actually. Great view from the office window of the Arctic ocean and Snow covered mountains. Fantastic clean air as well.
Have finally got the taste of ammonia out of my mouth after the shark. Apparently it's poisonous to eat when fresh, so they bury it for a couple of months to go rotten then hang it out in the wind for another couple of months to dry out, by which time it's edible (although edible only really in the context that it won't actually kill you). Reeks of ammonia - they serve it in sealed jars.
Anyway - tourist food yesterday, proper Icelandic food today, which pretty much means either fish or cured meats. They seem to be trying to fatten me up. I'm on the 3rd meal of the day already.
