iPad game suggestions

Post by bspittles »

Anyone have any good suggestions for casual iPad games? Preferably ones in which decisions affect gameplay (so no more farming games )?

Cheers for the suggestions, bloggie. I liked Where's My Water for a while but it's just one level after another. The other two are running games, not my cup of tea at all!

I like the idea of a Forge of Empires style game, but there's no strategy or skill involved.

You could try 'words' which is scrabble but it's untimed so you'd have to find a player that doesn't wander off.

I never have enough time to watch a TV programme, let alone a whole film! Currently playing Island Experience but hoping Maritime Kingdom will be a bit better.

Moviebox allows you download episodes or films to watch later.

Boom beach is a bit of lighthearted addictive long term fun.

:-) Yeah, I liked Boom Beach. Then I came back to it after a couple of days away and found I'd lost some of my islands :-( not sure I can cope with the idea of having to play something every day or being penalised for it.

Tried that, but it's a little manic compared to the original :-)

Currently playing Asterix and friends, looking quite good.

I've created a Fiso guild in Asterix, cunningly named FISO. So if anyone's interested...

This week I'm mostly playing Mini Metro, a simple yet entertaining game in which you have to design the London Underground (or one of the other cities available) as if it were evolving on a daily basis. I don't often pay for games, but this was £3.99 well spent.

It also appeals to children, as my four year old loves it!
