Philip K Dick Award Books

Post by ctibbits »

After being introduced to the Takeshi Kovacs books by Richard Morgan I noticed the third installment won the Philip K. Dick award which is given to the best SciFi novel of that year. I am almost finished with that series and am looking to continue in the SciFi genre as it is my favorite. Wondering if anyone has read any of these award winners and have a suggestion of what I should read first.

Thanks

The poster that went by that monicker would probably be able to help.

Sadly doesn't look like he's visited since December,

He did have his own thread where he'd posted the books he'd read (not sure if any recommendations in there)

Yeah I looked at that and the thread for 2014. He is the one that turned me on to Richard Morgan in the first place but his list doesn't tell me what type of books they are. I am sure they are all good books but I really am just limited to SciFi and Fantasy for what I enjoy.

I too love those books, also introduced to the by Tak.

I believe the sub-genre is described as 'hardboiled cyberpunk sci-fi' :?
