The official site (scroll to bottom):
[Roy] Keane says new signings Phil Bardsley and Rade Prica, who both joined the club last week, will be in the squad tonight. Right-back Bardsley could start against Birmingham while Sweden international striker Prica is likely to be on the bench.

Sunderland will be without Michael Chopra, who serves a one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards, while Carlos Edwards is not yet ready to return to first-team action. Grant Leadbitter and Danny Higginbotham (both broken toe), Kieran Richardson (hamstring) and Ross Wallace (knee ligaments) are also out.

The official site:
Roy Keane has confirmed midfielder Kieran Richardson will not be travelling South today for tomorrow's game at Portsmouth. The star midfielder - who scored both goals against Pompey when Keane's side beat them 2-0 at the Stadium of Light six weeks ago - has failed to shake off the hamstring problem he aggravated at Liverpool. The injury forced him out of Sunderland's 2-0 win at home to Wigan a fortnight ago - and while Keane is hoping the former Manchester United man will be available for next weekend's trip to Derby, he will not be in the squad to face Harry Redknapp's side at Fratton Park tomorrow.

The game is also too soon for winger Carlos Edwards (broken foot), Liam Miller (calf) and Danny Higginbotham (broken toe).

Keane said today: "We've decided we're going to hold one or two back this week. "The likes of Danny, Kieran, Liam - they'll be joining in next week, but we may look to get one or two involved in the reserves next Wednesday. But we've learnt our lesson a little bit from earlier in the season, when we've maybe pushed one or two lads too quickly, so the lads who were touch-and-go will not be involved tomorrow. The fact is we did OK in the last game, with the players we used, so we need to be fair to them and give them another chance against Portsmouth. Liam and Carlos are very much doubtful even for next weekend. But next week I'll be looking at Kieran and Danny."

The official site:
Roy Keane hopes to have Kieran Richardson and Danny Higginbotham in his squad for Saturday's trip to Derby. Higginbotham, who has missed seven games with a broken toe, proved his fitness by playing for 65 minutes for Sunderland's reserves against Bolton last night. And the defender's return hands Keane a timely boost - with Danny Collins, the club's first-choice left-back, suspended for the game at Pride Park. Higginbotham, the former Stoke stopper, has played on the left side of the back-four during his career.

"Hopefully there won't be any reaction from Danny. If that's the case, he will have a chance of getting involved on Saturday," said Keane. Keane decided against risking Richardson in the game at Leyland, which Sunderland lost 1-0. The manager explained. "We felt we'd rather have Kieran training here with us for a few days."

Carlos Edwards is edging closer to a first-team return but he will not be involved when Sunderland look to end a run of 10 successive away defeats. "Carlos has joined in with us in the last week or so but without any major contact," said Keane. "We're hoping he might be available next week in terms of a reserve game."

The official site:
Roy Keane could hand Liam Miller a reprieve on Sunday after being impressed by the midfielder's attitude in training this week. Miller was put on the Sunderland transfer list a fortnight ago after repeatedly turning up late for training. But according to Keane the former Celtic midfielder has reacted to the punishment in the right way and could feature against Everton. Miller was dropped from Sunderland's squad for the game at Derby last weekend.

"Liam might be back," said the Sunderland boss. "He's shown a good attitude and that's the reaction you expect from a good professional. I'm delighted that he's reacted the way he has. He's been positive and staked his claim to get back in the team, that's what I'll judge him on."

The official site:
Roy Keane hopes that Carlos Edwards will play a big part in keeping Sunderland in the Premier League. Edwards is expected to return to action against Chelsea tomorrow after a three-month absence with a broken leg. If he plays against the title-chasing Londoners, it will be only his sixth game of the season. Edwards played 60 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday and has had no adverse reaction.

"It's just great to see him back because someone like Carlos could make the different between us remaining in the Premier League or not," said Keane. "The reserve game the other night came at a good time for him. His fitness and running ability is fine, he's a naturally fit lad. Whether he's up to speed for the Premier League or not is the big question but he'll be involved with the first team today and hopefully tomorrow."

Sunderland will start as rank outsiders against Chelsea tomorrow and Keane might see it as a good time to give Edwards some much-needed match fitness. He said: "It could be a case of trying to get Carlos back up to match speed and then we might see the benefits come the games after [Aston] Villa, the games we really have to get results from. "We'll just gauge Carlos over the next 24 hours. The temptation is to throw him straight back in, especially with the position we're in, but first and foremost we've got to look after Carlos and his health. It's great to have him back because we have missed him."

Roy O'Donovan will also return to Sunderland first-team squad tomorrow after missing the last five weeks with an abdominal strain. "It was good to see Roy have a run-out the other night because I think he will have an influence, he's got something to offer" said Keane.
I was tempted to flag Edwards as orange but decided on green.

Kieran Richardson, Daryl Murphy, Michael Chopra and Anthony Stokes will all come into contention for a place in Sunderland's team at Aston Villa tomorrow. Stokes has recovered from illness while the other three will travel after being left out of Roy Keane's squad for the game against Chelsea last week.

Dickson Etuhu is still missing with a knee injury as is Ross Wallace. David Connolly has a groin strain.
I presume Connoly is ruled out; it doesn't say for sure however.

The official site:
Dwight Yorke will miss tomorrow's game against Manchester City with a knee injury. The midfielder, 36, has not returned to training after missing last weekend's win over Fulham. Roy Keane said: "There are no fresh injuries from last week, it will be roughly the same squad." Ross Wallace (knee), Darren Ward (back) and Dickson Etuhu (knee) could be out for the rest of the season.

Boss Keane will be tempted to name an unchanged side after three wins in a row, But Michael Chopra is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score two vital goals in the last three weeks. Liam Miller and Anthony Stokes are set to return to the squad.

The official site:
Phil Bardsley misses the game with a knee injury while Jonny Evans is described by Roy Keane, the manager, as having a "50-50" chance to play. Evans, who has a hamstring injury, hoped to return to training today. Roy Keane said: "Jonny and Bardo are important defenders and we miss them but I don't want to make too much of the injured lads. [...]

Dwight Yorke is back in training and could feature while Danny Higginbotham, Paul McShane, Ian Harte, Grant Leadbitter and Anthony Stokes all hoped to be in the squad. Ross Wallace trained with the first team today after scoring a hat-trick in a comeback game for the reserves in midweek. He has an outside chance of being involved. Dickson Etuhu, Rade Prica, Darren Ward and David Connolly are injured.
