I played Championship Fantasy game in 13/14 season and Troy Deeney stood out in my opinion, his stats were really good in last season too. Hopefully he isn't too expensive, as I think he would be a really good pick for 3rd forward. Vydra is a good option too, but when he played for WBA he didn't do that much (at least in my opinion), so I'm not sure how good he will be this time around. Forestieri isn't that bad either, but I doubt he will get that much game time. Of course goalkeeper, Almunia is quite good and a possible pick for second keeper, but I doubt that he will be that cheap. Don't know about the rest that well.

Thanks for your suggestions. Troy Deeney, more of the obvious one. Vydra, didn't do that great with W.B.A. but he could be worth a punt. Didn't know that Almunia was a Watford player. Isn't ex Spurs Gomez their keeper ?
Wondering if Cathcart might be a useful defensive enabler ??

Almunia retired from football twelve months ago. He was diagnosed with sudden heart failure.

Oh, yeah, I got confused checking the previous season before the last one (as I said I didn't watch it that much last season). Didn't know about his heart failure though, sad :(

This is the FranzFerdinandSparks guess at the Watford line up. Any fans/experts care to comment on possible variations???

I see today that Layun got hauled off after 54 minutes for Abdi. Any Watford fans about, is Layun likely to lose his starting spot?

Hi guys what will happen to Aghalo now that Diamanti is signed? Could even Deeney lose his place given the Hornets have plenty of attacking options now in their side.
