Hojberg was the only player to play the full 90 today. Played ok in the defensive midfielder role, nothing rash either.

Redmond looking lively as is Tadic. Long tucked a nice goal away. 1-0 win against decent Spanish opposition. Look nice and solid defensively so far.

Thanks for the report. Running with long and Hojberg for certain and possibly Tadic. Looking like either him or Willian as my 7.5 spot with doubts over Siggy

Was it a 4-3-3 today rather than a diamond? How well are the full backs getting forward? I know Bertrand missed out today and would presumably improve the attack down the left, but did Cedric put in a good attacking display? Expecting him to get the nod over Martina and the new signing?

442 although a fairly fluid one with Long, Redmond and Tadic all quite advanced and looking lively. Soares looked very good in the first half that he played. Bertrand is now confirmed out of the first game so Targett (also a doubt went off with ice), Pied or Mc Queen likely to deputise. Martina wasn't in the squad at all don't know why so Soares should start now.
