We're expecting the club will sign at least one centre back but in the meantime we expect the first choice back four will be Ward, Gabbidon, Delaney, Parr/Moxey. Ramage is back-up.

Out of Parr Moxey who do you rate the better player which do you think will start is Parr still injured?

Any hurry on the Murray?
Will Dobbie get the jobbie?
Are they insane to play Dindane?
Is D Gayle still for sale?
Is there a forward that can produce the goods that Murray and Zaha did?

Neither comprehensively nailed-down the left back berth last year. Both had runs in the side however Parr is generally considered first choice left back. They were even used together on occasion too, with Parr advancing into left midfield. Parr (38 appearances last year) is considered better going forward but Moxey (33 appearances last year) is arguably slightly better defensively and certainly 'nastier'. If you're looking for playing time alone, I'd suggest picking our right back Joel Ward instead. As the squad stands now, he is a more secure starter than Parr and Moxey.

UPDATE: Parr expected to feature in pre-season friendly this week.

Mention of Dindane suggests you probably know all the answers already!

since ward and gab are both 4.0, which would you recommend in terms of game security and attacking prospect?

What chance Jonathan Williams getting a starting XI slot? I'm hearing that he's outstanding Premier League quality at the same time that I'm hearing he's overrated.

I don't think he's guaranteed a starting slot. He'll probably start 60% of games and be used from the bench for the remainder.

In terms of ability, probably our best player since Zaha left. In terms of end product, one assist I can remember last season.

Best of luck today. Do the championship proud.

I hope you've got your stock of pain killers by your side for the season to come. Beware though, when you go 2 down and take a pain killer and your team does a comeback, they don't mix with beer well. :P

C'mon Palace, upset the applecart. All the best for the season.

Ian Holloway gets a two match touchline ban and an 18k fine after admitting two charges of improper conduct. :( Not a fan of his homespun philosophy style, but this seems very harsh when other managers say very much the same but in a more calculated manner. I think he's been bullied.

Depends who's on at the time. Phillips will take pens if he's on. Gayle took the last one. Murray took most of last seasons, but he's not back for a while.

Bench fodder. You want to get on Dann now, looks a Pulis favourite and appears to have ousted Gabbidon.
