Apologies for me dragging our average pace down. I did try a relatively short, relatively flat route this morning as I am not at my best but it was still fairly slow!

Darbyand, Johnners and Spadger have each contributed over 1 or both of the last 2 weeks. This week?

Great running, teammates. Won't get kitted up like John Terry and celebrate with you, but very well done to all of you for the PB!

Kicking us off this week with a wild and woolly 5 miles / 8.05k 46:39. 4 laps through overflowing brook puddle cleaned my shoes.

18th Weekly FISO Coronavirus Marathon Relay
GO!
Brightwater 8.05km 0:46:39
Neath Boy 0.10km 0:00:09.57
murf 7.03km 0:44:13
TOTAL - 15.18km - 1:31:01.57
To Go - 26.02 km
I've knocked the long runs (10k+) on the head as a) it was hurting too much and b) I can't see my half marathon happening in October.
Today was an out and back. I turned round sooner than intended as I could see bad weather coming down the valley and decide to head home and try to outrun it. I got home just before a few drops of rain hit!
I'll let you guess which half was uphill and headwind from my 1k splits-
7:50, 8:10, 7:02, 6:16, 4:51, 4:42, 5:09
(If we go past the marathon distance near our PB, I'll trim my contribution accordingly!)

8k from me today - time was 41:18.
Feels good to be back up to speed again Like murf, I’m not sure I will go back to regular 10ks though. Might keep changing distances and also try some uphill runs and intervals
