I could have stayed in bed

Just done a slow 9.66km (1:02:09), just haven't had the energy in my legs lately

Have you seen any of these when you've been out and about running:

Can't say I have. I may have to find them as i can work out roughly where it is from the lake and mountains in the background. Story is from today but those pics aren't. Had some recent snow on those tops (can see them ftom my house) but it has been gone a good few days.

Advance warning in case anyone wants to plan ahead. I'm taking part in a 13k (mainly uphill) road race this weekend so hopefully that makes someone's life easier.

Had a 5k race today which I navigated in 24:15. More than happy with that

Have now, eventually, joined the (not)parkrun 100 Club this morning!

Think this is the 49th week of it (haven't missed any) so I am averaging over 2 a week - my plan is a run every 3 days. Think that works out at 1 every 3.4 days so not far off.

A very tough 13.17km in 1:16:24. Enjoyed the race though even if the hills still weren't any fun

Not sure how hilly it was but keeping your pace below 6 mins/km is good.

Don't think I'll be contributing this weekend. Pulled a muscle in my back and could do with a rest anyway.

Still celebrating after yesterday's game?

10.25km for me in 59:00. Don't usually run that far, but thought you might need a bit less to do if we're a man down.

Hope you're back with us next week, Murf.

Starting this week early to test my back on flattish roads. Think I passed (though a couple of ibuprofen just now helped!) so may 'upgrade' later in the weekend.

I am running Vitality virtual 10k possibly tomorrow, and / or next Friday. Email just received, they are doubling up and going for the real race, Hatfield Park Sunday 11 July. 2 flavours, normal bun fight start or socially distanced pairs 2 second intervals.

5.07km in 25:23.

Fastest parkrun since May 2018. Now if I could get back near last year's sub-23 5k time that would be lovely thanks.

Didn't realise your posts were about proper parkruns as didn't realise you lucky sods had started up again.

25:23 on the Guernsey results this morning was Hannah Fitchett. Always thought you were Mr E! What have I got wrong?? I Image

Also I noticed a Le Tissier in the results. Ate there a few of them around?
