Red Dwarf
A new series of Red Dwarf returning to Dave in the autumn!
Dreams made reality.
Dave is gradually becoming the only channel I watch and the preview looks like the dwarfers are back on form.

Re: Red Dwarf
The clips they are showing on Dave appear to make it seem a hell of a lot better than "Back to earth".

Re: Red Dwarf
It was better than I expected but the laugh track seemed extra annoying this time around or was it just me?

Re: Red Dwarf
After the woeful episodes released on Dave last year I had zero expectations for this new series.
I have just laughed through the whole episode and really hope they can keep this up for the rest of the series.

It was filmed before an audience, so the laughs were real.Spinynorman wrote:It was better than I expected but the laugh track seemed extra annoying this time around or was it just me?

How can Dave afford to transport a whole audience into space to watch it being filmed?
(and why is Rimmer's hologram getting old?)

Re: Red Dwarf
20/20 - though I only watched it 5 minutes ago.
I'd also debate the answer to the folllowing question:
Question 13: One thing we can say about Rimmer, he ain't a quitter! How many times had he re-sat his astro nav exams?

I think it says 7 but I think it is 13 in a much earlier series.tedbull wrote:20/20 - though I only watched it 5 minutes ago.

Re: Red Dwarf
Constantly fails the exam? I'd hardly call eleven times "constantly." I mean, if you eat roast beef eleven times in your life, one would hardly say that person constantly eats roast beef. No, it would be a rare, nay, freak occurrence.

Re: Red Dwarf
Well I was wrong on both counts but in the right ball park....very good Hotpot I am now trying to remember the name of the episode.
Series 1 I think he had been looking at his file.

Re: Red Dwarf
I was going down a different route. The answer was 9, but he said he had failed 9 times. Which means he had re-sat 8 times.Lister wrote:I think it says 7 but I think it is 13 in a much earlier series.tedbull wrote:20/20 - though I only watched it 5 minutes ago.
