Seconded. Although I thought I'd missed a couple of series there...

Thanks, amended. :) For some reason I decided that reminder was too urgent to wait despite having just got in from the pub.

Ripper Street, series 4
Ripper.JPG
I'm not sure where I am with this, I stopped watching it when it was binned by the Beeb which I think was season 2 but it seems odd that they'd have picked up season 4 and not 3 from Amazon in that case. :?

Edit: I think I just missed season 3 when the BBC aired it. All four seasons are on Amazon Video.

The Fall, series 3

Still can't quite believe they've managed to squeeze another series out of this but I'll probably give it a go.

Was the last series on BBC2? I'd have thought this deserved a spot on BBC1.

Finished Narcos S2

Really good series. It was strange that you go through a roller coaster with Pablo almost feeling sorry for him at times (then have to remind yourself about the #%^* he pulled)!

Anyone know any good books or even articles/blogs that corroborate (dismiss) the series?

Love to know how much is factual.

One thing I did see/read is that Tata was 15 when 26yo Pablo married her.

That was my Robin Hood kinda point, above - taking the nasty USofA's Dollar and redistributing a fair whack.....

I got as far as this bod viewtopic.php?f=40&t=122946&p=2961328&h ... d#p2961328

Some places in the world have 12 as their age for such things.

Sherlock - what a complete load of utter b******s that last episode was.

They only bother making 3 episodes and waste even that with a load of contrived, unbelievable dross.

Thoughts on Fargo Series 3?

I'm really enjoying it and Ewan McGregor seems to be playing a good part(s).

Just finished viewing.
Better Call Saul 3, great series.
Fargo 3, possibly the best of the 3 so far.
Orange 5, has been a riot of black humour and drama, this too has reached its peak.
And I don't think Doctor Who has long to go, not quite grabbed me this time around.
GoT restarting soon. I am going to need something to get me through to the start of the season.

Apart from Fargo there's not much about - Americans & Riviera probably the best of the rest if you haven't caught them yet.

Also any thoughts on Shots Fired ? - seems quite good to me

Think I'll start the next House of Cards soon - bit of a desert out there.

Am I meant to be laughing at W1A? I've managed two episodes of this series (having not watched it before) and it's just awful.

I've enjoyed it so far, but then I have been onboard with the series since 2012 and through all the W1A "sequels".

I don't mind it, especially since it puts Ophelia Lovibond on screen, and I'm glad she's got a bigger part in this series.

W1A in particular (rather than 2012) does though feel like a bit of an in-joke, as if you have to work for the BBC to get it fully, but there are elements of the corporate culture that I recognise.

David Tennant's commentary is subtle and under appreciated, probably the best part of the entire series.

Even though I know no one is likely to see this but The Affair Season 4 has started. Haven’t watched any yet.

Up to now it’s been an ok watch with the Mrs but has failed to live up to S1.

Even S1 fizzled out and failed to live up to the hype. No way was I watching S2 let alone 3 or 4.

Image tbh my memory probably has failed me here. But the Mrs still likes it so I’ll keep watching, multitasking. Image
