Re: GB News
I'll have to give this a go at a different time as I've hit Kirsty Gallacher's cleavage time again...
On a totally unrelated note I don't think it's in HD, let alone 4k do it's decidedly blurry.
I'm not sure if this is a positive but, unlike Auntie, they are running a (rather long story) about the Red Light Zone in Leeds/Holbeck. I'm only watching in case they ask about the impact of COVID on the workers.....

Re: GB News
Also the weatherman reminds me of Marc Almond, so I kept expecting the music for Tainted Love etc the start up

Re: GB News
Apparently when Farage is on their viewing figures are higher than the BBC and Sky news channels combined. Not that they are high figures to beat....
GB News 145k (peaking at 157k)
BBC 113k
Sky 29k
Still only 1 in 400+ people.

Re: GB News
Surprised the gammons aren’t complaining if the weatherman looks like a gay pop star…
On a similar theme, check out Dave Grohl’s trolling of Westboro Baptist Church (you know, the anti-smoking lot… God hates cigarettes, I presume that’s what they’re on about anyway…)

Re: GB News
Been watching the first half hour or so of their breakfast show whilst BBC Breakfast has been off and it really is a bit naff.

Has this hot any less bad? And has anyone listened to LBC enough to say if it's any good?

Re: GB News
Liverpool have just frozen season ticket prices for the 7th consecutive year and they pay their stars a lot less than other clubs. Plus you never hear anybody say a bad word about the boss.
You could be onto something......
(We'll ignore the vicious rumours about them annexing Southampton over the past few years though)

Port cities are always sought after, even if they have a couple already.
Thought they were buying Ukraine but it was just “UK rain”…

Re: GB News
It came to mind based on a hashtag about storms some time ago, which I noticed was very similar to the name of a (then less newsworthy) country…

Would work better had it been a Manchester club, but Liverpool isn’t far away so can’t be much drier…

Re: GB News
Sunday's I occasionally watch Alastair Stewart, I've always considered him to be a serious journalist/presenter, still do tbh.
Certainly when they started it looked a cowboy set up, so many things not working/going wrong, too much for me to watch plus the content was weak
The most off putting presenter for me is Dan Wootton & his so called super star panel which breaks the trade descriptions act, apart from Daisy Mcandrew who I've always had a soft spot for . I often agree with some of the things he says but not the way he says them. Its a channel I sometimes hop on to but usually quickly hop off. I certainly wouldn't boycott the channel but if it dropped off the TV I wouldn't miss it.
I haven't got a lot of time or respect for Sky/BBC/ITN controllers either. Rather than reporting the news they all concentrate on creating it

Re: GB News
Laurence Fox is entitled to his views but
For the record, I dont agree with hardly anything she says politically but how can Fox claim no man would shag her

Re: GB News
Is the other GB bod the one under scrutiny for a rather peculiar sexual thing (getting male porn bods to take porno photos and vids with other men who knew nothing about it?)

Re: GB News
Fox off the (gammon) box. Along with the Robinson guy who backed them, Wootton still under investigation.
John Cleese still set to host a show on GBeebies despite slagging off some of their key figures. Sounds like his political views are very mixed and he will probably kick off at people from across the spectrum!

I wont miss Wootton tbh. Problem is I'm no fan of Mark Dolan who looks like his likely replacementGuppings wrote: ↑06 Apr 2022, 15:11 Sunday's I occasionally watch Alastair Stewart, I've always considered him to be a serious journalist/presenter, still do tbh.

Not so many cock ups these days. I've been watching GB news more than any other news channel but that doesn't equal hours on end, more likely depending on the content/presenter. Some I agree with others I dont but taking my old dads advice, "dont just listen to those you agree with"

Re: GB News
The problem with using that proverb is it doesn't stack up comrade as I clearly stated Some I agree with others I dont but i'm sure you wont let facts get in the way.
