Films of the Decade (2010-2020)
A tweet from a mate got me thinking... I’m hardly Barry Norman (I think I’ve seen around 30-40 films that have been made during this period). But regardless here’s my Top 10:
Beats of Southern Wild
Green Book
Wolf of Wall Street
Hunt for the Wilderpeople
ex-Machina
I’m not a Witch
Burning
Julieta
Sicario
Captain Phillips

I have only seen two of your selections
Hunt for the wilder people 9/10 and enjoyable ( made in NZ so may be biased)
ex-Machina 8/10 full of promise but lacking a little je ne sais quai
I will think more on a top 10 of my own and post later but I think my selection will contain some Marvel movies, as action / adventure seems to be what mrs O likes and therefore what we predominantly watch.

2010-2019
Sort of in chronological order but my memory is shot
Iron man
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Django Unchained
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Riddick
Guardians of the galaxy
Kingsman
Deadpool
Baby driver
Way too much action in that selection but it represents what we ( mrs O) choose to watch.
I like a film with a good sound track and a bit of comedy so the Guardians style of movies is OK. Tarantino would be my favorite movie maker.
I can however watch and enjoy every thing from Disney to Hammer House.

Interestingly, I love Tarantino too... yet our list of films are so different.

Not 2010 -19 but my style given the chance to watch would be girl on a motorcycle 1968 Jack Carrdiff directing Marianne Faithful and Alain Delon or Seven 1995 David Fincher directing Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and John C. McGinley or anything Tarantino.
I do not control the buttons in my home and me picking the movie for date night in town would be asking for a divorce.

6 of your list I’ve seen (or have on my radar). A lot more overlap than I have with Oxford (1).

Re: Films of the Decade (2010-2020)
Interesting thread - if anyone is on Facebook I admin film review groups.
I have one for films I see at the big screen (cinema):
https://www.facebook.com/groups/192772020758186/
& one for those seen on the small screen usually on TV or streamed:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/465136540211336/
All are welcome to join - when I see a film I give it a rating out of 10 and do a wee review about it.
That's it really.

Films of the Decade (2010-2020)
My 10 for this decade:
Interstellar (2014)
The Raid (2011)
The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
The Imitation Game (2014)
The Fighter (2010)
Man on a Ledge (2012)
Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
Gangster Squad (2013)
It was so hard to pick just 10 and still not sure if that's my final 10 - so many films to I've not seen yet from this decade (that I wish to) plus I can't decide on what ones to have as if I could have an 11th this is as good as many I've already listed:
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
