So, will House Skywalker take the Galactic Iron Throne? Will the Empire strike back with dragon fire? And will Gwendoline Christie feature as Brienne of Darth?
More seriously, how will they cope when they can’t call upon gratuitous nudity, graphic beheadings, and the C-word What the two franchises do have in common though, and what puts them at the top of the movie and TV worlds, is the incredible depth and detail to the worlds they create, and in that sense the pair will surely be right at home.

Will they have the imagination. The last series of GoT was very weak without GRRM's detailed storylines.

Didn’t it overtake the books a couple of series ago at least? And diverge significantly from them well before that, as GRRM’s storylines were too detailed to be filmable (which is what he originally intended...)
The later series have been a bit patchy but the showpiece episodes haven’t disappointed, which is a good sign for potential movies (Battle of the bustards for example would certainly have worked on the big screen). Even for a trilogy there’s only 5 or 6 hours of material to produce, barely equivalent to half a season of a big TV series, so less room for weak drifting storylines.
As for the music - John Williams or Ramin Djawadi, you can’t go wrong either way...

Have to admit I’ve seen that one somewhere before, I guess inspired by her existing role as the Dark Side’s Captain Phasma...Zimmerman wrote: ↑08 Feb 2018, 13:12Very impressive work FFforestfan wrote: ↑07 Feb 2018, 22:02 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-42969565
