I'm starting to get annoyed by channels plugging series as "Coming Soon". Why can't they give us date rather than this teasing. Even a bland "in September" would be better.

Believe they are finally giving a date for Peaky Blinders. Might be 25th but I can't remember for sure.

Yeah, a week on Sunday I believe. It’s been a long wait (even given the fact I binged it all after the most recent series aired!), hope it’s not a disappointment.

I tend to find when I watch something on box set until I get up to date, then wait ages for it to come back and watch the next series on “linear” TV it often ends up feeling like a bit of a let-down, does anyone else find that?

Inside No.9 returned last week.

First episode is a football based one for non-fans of the series (every episode is standalone).

Didn't Westworld lose the plot in 2nd Series?

Well apart from Mrs Bergen 😂

Well, the plot was pretty easy to lose, with dozens of timelines going on at once... still some good moments though. S3 looks interesting, anyway, looks like it will hit the outside world...

Homeland back for its final (8th?) season tomorrow.

Memory a little dodgy but last couple of series have been getting worse after a big improvement once they had found some post Damian Lewis focus (and the previous BIG dip). Have to see it out and glad they made it knowing it was the end (rather than just drifting til they got cancelled) - hopefully should give us a proper bit of 'closure'

It really did get good again but was pretty poor for a while (S3 the worst???) so no great loss overall.

Me too... the show seems to focus on Carrie being a bit Kim Bauer and frowning (a lot). I binned it after/during S2.

Caught an advert for this final season last night. Surprise surprise, 90% of the clips were Carrie frowning 🤣

Think i might have been during S2 too tbf Image (Mrs HH gave up after S1) my only memory was being bored and counting the minutes until each episode ended realising there was a pile of episodes and potential future series. Baaaaaale

Is it (S1, anyway) up to the standard of the Colombian original?

I struggled to be honest. Same format and same quality of production. I just didn’t enjoy it like the Pablo ones. Characters didn’t engage me and consequently I found it a more of a chore to watch.

I tend to agree on the characters but I do still enjoy it. Be interesting to see what character development if any there is this time around.

Homeland was pretty rubbish, Carrie breaking the rules to prevent nuclear war (not officially a parody). Thankfully there will be no more series.

Killing Eve was also rubbish with Villanelle and Eve, errr, not really doing much for a whole series (felt like a parody of itself). Hopefully there will be no more series.

Having rewatched all 3 seasons of Fargo on Netflix I’m now about to start S4. Only available on some stupid platform so I’m having to watch creatively .....
