Managed 1.2 in all. Some of the changes are suspect. Ings before Jesus

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
How Gallagher hasn’t risen being a 5.5 mill player scoring two goals is abit of a joke also. The only conclusion I can come to is that he hasn’t played 3 games and I suppose the same goes for Jesus

Clearly no formula and still being done manually based on someone's opinion which I strongly suspected would be the case.
Pinnock and Jansson have exactly the same form and points - only one of them gets the price rise.
Laporte has very similar form to what Alonso had last week (9.6 vs 9.3). Both priced at 5.5, Alonso got the rise last week and Laporte doesn't get it this week.
Pogba vs Torres another clanger, almost identical points and form.

Jesus came on as sub in 1st game which brings his form down a bit. It's still better average points than Ings though who is only 0.5 mil less and got the rise.

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
Luckily I got the Jannson over Pinnock increase right as the most recent game has more of an effect so Pinnock got assist in the first game and Jannson in the third. But that still doesn’t explain Jesus with better most recent game form than Ings……

Ferran over Pogba is pretty blatant though as He scored much better in the latest game

Doucoure got his highest score in the 1st game like Pogba and did nothing last game.

My algo wasnt to far off - very good on the fallers, bit more spaced on the risers - but i think its somewhere handy... would suspect they have something like i do then choose which 15-20 rise or fall from it.
This is the page https://www.ffstuff.co.uk/FanTeamPricePredictions.php - green ticks are the actual risers compared to my predicted over/under performance

Did pretty well with the price changes by the looks of it. I’ve an extra 1.2 to play with now.
Annoyed about Jesus though! Thought he would rise for sure.

Actually, im just adding some recency bias to it and im getting much greater accuracy on the predicted risers... i'll update the link later when i have settled on a figure ... but there is definitely an algo

Updated now with the recency bias, obviously as always my formulas may change when more data is available
https://ffstuff.co.uk/FanTeamPricePredictions.php
Obviously this GW rises have happened but I've updated the page to show how well it cleans the data down to the risers only (pretty much).

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
Cheers Frank, still doesnt explain Ings over Jesus though does it..... Baffled me that has. Also a 4 mill keeper should have surely rose after playing three games in a row regardless of a score although hes average is actually pretty decent at 3.3

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
I do wonder if the people over at Fanteam look at the fpl price changes though for a bit of help as i notice Ings has risen on there and Jesus hasn't......

His average is still poor - just 3pts per game, never going to rise with that.. the lower end GKS need an average closer to 4

I managed to do it guys - Ronaldo, Salah, Lukaku and TAA all into the same wildcard team.
All will be revealed this weekend

Yeah I can do it too although not gonna have Lukaku for a bit longer. Chelsea Still got some tough fixtures next few weeks

I’ve never changed my teams so much in a wildcard - so many different options….

Hopefully start to see things shake up a bit now - it's still incredibly tight in terms of points because the template performed so well in the first 3 GWs.

using my wildcard, can't be doing with nonsense like Brighton defenders anymore, going stronger at the back, it's the way forward.

That's now become my 2nd best team - a nice combined 33.9 points between Lukaku and Ronaldo assuming you captained one of them.
Did anyone else manage to fit them both into the same team?

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
I was so tempted to have a team with Lukaku, Kane and Ronaldo and with Salah in too but thought Lukaku would not do well in next three games so went Calvert as third striker instead. In all fairness my top team is in good shape. Expect to see it in or around top 1000 by end of gameweek

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
Three premium strikers too much imo - it should soon be easy to have two and switch between them as I expect a few price rises for Lukaku/Ronaldo coupled with a few price drops for Kane in the coming weeks.

Re: FanTeam £1m Premier League 2021/22
Didn’t squeeze TAA in but one of my late reg teams with a 101.2m budget managed the below set-up. Much easier to have three premiums in FanTeam than FPL with the kinder pricing - in fact I think three premiums in FPL is a bad idea.
4.5/4.0
Rudiger/Tierney/4.5m x3
Salah, Jota, Torres, Raphina, 4.5
Ronaldo, Lukaku, Bamford.
64.4pts so far and a nice rank jump.
