Mariano came in for Benzema so 2 points better than nothing.

A real stinger for those who went with Ilicic and ended up getting the booked Gosens in his place!

Lol!!

We’re the only ones posting and we end up trying to wind each other up!

True, a one pointer from Gosens doesn’t help but who would have thought they would go down to 10 men? Could be worse could have had Zapata!

Almost did.

Your in quite good shape overall Block by the looks of it....your top team looks good.

WP, showing your consistency.

I’m just grateful for the Citeh CS.

It’s a real interesting game format I think...3 subs now...surely even I won’t be taking a hit!

Sevilla equalise with the last kick of the game - the booked Haaland loses his win bonus!

The Juve Porto match was one of the best games i've seen in the last (admittedly very weird) 12 months, the Chiesa goals making up for my not going with the Haaland bandwagon. And this new format means can totally rejig for the quarter finals, I can see good and bad re that, but it's good for many of us, maintains interest for those who picked players in teams now out, to the annoyance no doubt of the leaders.

10 point haul is 10 points on the board.

Good value I think but next round against better opposition like Bayern or City would mean he gets even less chances to score.

Shame about Ronaldo going out as well....won’t be the same without him....least it takes away the dilemma I always seem to have with picking him.

This would do away with any need for a safety need feature, seems a bit archaic to have a set deadline and then that's it, I do like the 3 transfers/wildcard/3 transfers/wildcard structure however. wheel spinner

Am I right in saying wildcard needs to be finalised 90 minutes prior to first kick off?

I'm not sure but you will know 24 hours beforehand as when you click on edit team, top right it shows the countdown time, atm it says 6 days, but next Monday night you can work it out from the hours left to run to deadline.

Careful using this early in a comp.

After the first matchday, I had my transfers set up ready a day before but held off due to the ticker displaying the k/o time. Turned out that was the deadline for the late entrants, and the 'regular' deadline was 90mins prior. Basically torpedoed my four teams before the comp had really got started. My own fault as I knew what the deadline was, but ***** FanTeam management confused matters all the same.

no late registration here it's closed, the deadline in hours will be the deadline, so if it says 23 hours, 12 minutes, that's when it'll be for this.

when you sign in tomorrow evening/tuesday morning, you should see a message in blue at the top of the screen which reminds people to make their transfers/use wildcard, as they usually do, could also ask admin on the live chat when you sign in.

looks like deadline is 18:30 tomorrow, 90 minutes before kick off, don't understand why not just let us see team news and react, everyone in the same boat, a bit senseless.

Be interesting to see what Ricky has done. In a very competitive position but will no doubt have attempted to shoot the moon 😀

He went for Kabak, Choupo-Moting and Neymar. Talk about flushing all that good work down the drain 🤦
