Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
This FanTeam landing page has been updated to include information about the season-long 250k FPL game.
Any questions about it post here and I'll try and find out for you.

I don't seem to have the 'account info' option at the top right hand corner.
I'm on my phone right enough, will it possibly be there on a laptop? Do you need to deposit money first? (i'd rather not before verification).

On the link you gave, it says 3 saves = 1pt...on the site support section under scoring it says 0.5 pts PER SAVE ?

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
It seems these guys are a complete bunch of cowboys.
Yesterday the website said 1 save = 1 point.
Today the site says 3 saves = 1 point.
Admin's Game rules FISO topic/post says 1 save = 0.5 points.
Edit: Actually, depending where you look, the website says 1 point per 3 saves in one place and 0.5 points per save in another.
People will be investing hundreds, if not thousands in this game and they keep changing the rules. Unreal.

It's going to be updated today (for all their soccer games) so that it's 0.5 points per save. This means there will be half points in the game (no rounding up/down).Toonraider574 wrote: ↑24 Jul 2019, 17:36 On the link you gave, it says 3 saves = 1pt...on the site support section under scoring it says 0.5 pts PER SAVE ?

Just been verified without making a deposit. Seemed very straight forward.
Will wait another week before paying I think, but €25 seems worth the risk to me

Bethard are also running a €25 €250K season long game. Looks to have the same format and number of entries - is this the FANTEAM game?

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
Currently on 720 entries - that’s about 40-45 entries a day since I joined. So really looking like they’ll never get close to their 12000 cut off. Noticed a few multi entries including Sandor Although not loads. Another multi entry person called Bogginho has a fair few teams! Hopefully he’s not a good player

The current 724 entries shown on the FanTeam website are the total entries across all Scout's network sites.
It does mean though that Scout will be generating more entries for the FPL game because it's not just marketing it on the Fanteam website.

Last season Scout Gaming did a similar promo across their network and got 2,700 ish teams. I'd expect a similar figure this season.

Only if all the TFF/SDT multi-teamers come out to play. It doesn't look like Fantasybet are part of the promo this season. So who is? Fanteam, Bethard, any others?
There should be a surge in the last few days before the season starts but I wouldn't expect many late entries once the season has KO'ed despite the delayed entry date.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
I see Fanteam are also running a Fantasy Football game just for the Community Shield next weekend.
Play from 2 euros for cash (400 euros guaranteed for the 2 euro game).
Or they have a satellite game where for 5.5 euros you can try and win one of 50 ticket entries into the 25 euros season-long FPL game (or for 55 euros win a ticket into the high-roller 2,625 euro entry season-long game). Details/blurb below:
'Before the EPL starts, we will have an exciting meeting between last season two greats, Manchester City and Liverpool. Because Manchester City won both the league and the FA Cup, the runner-up from the league is invited, and it was Liverpool of course. Fanteam will celebrate this match by having a wide variety of games:
• Single game fantasy (flexi 5 format)
• Buy-in of €2 with €400 GTD
• Buy-in of €20 with €2,000 GTD
• Buy-in of €200 with €2,000 GTD
• Satellites to the season game
• Sat €5.50 with 50 tickets to €250,000 season game GTD
• Sat €55 with 1 ticket to €2,625 buy-in season game GTD
The high-roller season game is getting attention
Several players have approached us and shown interest for the €2,625 buy-in season game. By having a satellite to it, we ensure that it will in fact run – if someone wants enter. With two entries, the prize pool will be €5,000 and all will of course go to first prize. With three entries, the pool will be €7,500. There is a cap of 50 seats in this exclusive tournament, so if it fills up, we will have a fantastic prize pool of €125,000!'

On the ID verification issue....
I just happened to receive my electoral register form today and it states on the back that the (non open) electoral register IS used for 'checking credit applications' so that answers that query I think.
Assuming Fanteam use it then all UK voters should be easily verified.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with 250,000 euros of prizes
I know from working in the Accountancy sector that, due to the money laundering regs, to check the ID for new clients we're required to see one of passport/photo card driving licence/national Identity card (non UK nationals). If potential clients don't provide this then they are not taken on (by us at least) due to serious penalties that could ensue. Just looking at online info/reports incl electoral register is not enough.murf wrote: ↑27 Jul 2019, 11:50 On the ID verification issue....
