They tell me they've reported these issues to their 3rd party payment process provider and hope to have them resolved soon.

When you click on the game in the lobby and choose details it says
Starts At
23 Aug 2019 20:00
Nothing about the latest you can enter, im not saying you are incorrect but confusing to anyone wanting to enter

That's pretty much what I told them. Start is definitely 9th August per their response but they should make this clearer on their rules.
They've also just confirmed that there are unlimited transfers to the start so you can put a team in now and amend later.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with minimum 250,000 euros of prizes
Yes now latest you can enter is start of GW4. Looks like they feel they're not going to get to 12,000 entrants by the 9th. They have said they will update the wording by tomorrow so it says registration open until 31st rather than 'starts at'.
Late entrants still acquire a score for the GWs they've missed (based on 70% of the average score) so some might enter after the 9th start date.
Late registration
In this tournament, users can register until the start of GW4, after that the late registration will be closed. While late regs can not earn player points for gameweeks that started before they entered, they will get a compensation equal to 70% of the average points other entries in the tournament have accumulated so far. Example: A user enters a team one hour after gameweek 2 started. His players will not earn points for gameweek 2; they will get to work in gameweek 3. Since the user is missing points from gameweek 1 and 2, we will give him a compensation, so it is possible (but not an advantage) to enter late. If the average points received in the tournament after 2 gameweeks was 150, this late entry will get a compensation of 0.70 x 150 = 105 points.

If the lads at TFF are to be believed, this is a non starter and doomed to failure.
I’ll watch this season with interest.

Apparently, only a very small percentage of people who play fantasy football are prepared to pay anything.
I’m not sure they’re correct in that assessment so I’ll watch how this develops. If it’s a success, I’ll play next season.

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with minimum 250,000 euros of prizes
As Maldini says GFM reckon the amount of people that are prepared to pay anything at all to play fantasy football is minimal and thus they think FanTeam game won't attract enough people at 25 euros each.
But FanTeam have guaranteed the 250k euros prize money regardless of the number of entries and have set a max 12,000 entry limit. I hope they get close to the 12,000 entries so they'll repeat next year.

They've promised to tell me when the 3rd party payment processor has resolved the issues but I haven't got the all clear yet. My Spanish credit card went through ok.
Still only has 400 entries. The top 1,250 to at least get their money back per their guarantee.

I entered an FPL team because it launched really early and I was bored. Will now be sacking it off in favour of FanTeam.

P.S. FanTeam say their payment provider won't be able to fix the CC issue until Monday at earliest.

I've just entered via paypal and no problems.
Must admit everything about the site is straight forward and it looks promising.
Weeklies or monthlies could be of interest, I presume the run them

Signed up to the forum in the hunt for new FF games, after the Telegraph reduced teams to five (giving me a fair bit of extra time this season!). I'm in for FanTeam, easy process via Paypal.
Where are you guys seeing the entrants list? - looked for that earlier.

Click on 'Tournaments' then scroll down to the EPL Season 250k game and click on 'Details'. One of the headings is 'Entries'.LoneGunner wrote: ↑20 Jul 2019, 18:28

Re: FanTeam - FPL game with minimum 250,000 euros of prizes
Notice on site saying UK payments by regular card will be available again from monday - I had big problems with paypal many years ago and have managed to avoid using them for ten years, don't want to have to start now.
Game looks good, similar to that run by fantasybet last season (although this year it looks as though fantasybet are promoting a slightly different version, split into divisions, which doesn't appeal imho, a bit gimmicky i think).

Looks fine to me. Sometimes the site doesn't display fully in Edge browser which I've reported to them. Are you using Edge?
