ok thanks for reminding me
im really hoping i can attend the actual draft, im looking forward to the jostling to get the best players with only six participants, rather than the ten some of us did... should be exciting, i will try and do some updates after the gameweeks or maybe during if i have time, see you in the draft room get your strategy worked out
ready set go 8-)

It looks as though all the leagues are now full and draft times set.
It seems to have been a bit more problematic this time around getting everyone sorted, so once again a big thank you to the league admins Mo Bot, Mav3rick and S-sutton87 for their help in getting it all sorted out.

Division 2 completed it was great fun with a 6 player draft, so many choices, and who 's dropped in popularity like a stone became clear as Mahrez and Sane Ozil etc. were left to fill in teams,
Morrison got first pick and went for the coveted Salah 8-) got into defence at round 7 the premium def/attack gone by then.
morgan b was second, Kane for him and grabbed Alonso at fourth pick  and used a pot luck strategy thereafter due to having just watch his team lose to Watford.
b spittles next up he nabbed Aguero then concentrated on a Spurs block. subsequently a smattering on midfielders to rely on - including the popular Walcott
me next so Hazard, Stirling Sanchez Lacazette Morata attack strategy used, for better or worse and missed out on the premium, defence. :x

blue fire snatched Mane then Alli and Robertson we all wanted them so good picking there :) Ozil in for him way down the list
talkie t was last to pick and grabbed a handful of attack Auba, Firmino and Jesus followed by Moura and D silva VDV as sixth pick - think looks a good mix :)
thanks for the game, very enjoyable half hour or so. :)

Just for fun I ran the Div 1 teams through the FFS RMT tool. It has some flaws in underestimating some players (e.g. Kompany imo, who isn't on my team fwiw and Lingard who is) and potentially overrating some players. Anyway, it's an ok guide. This is what it spat out.

Xpts:
549.87
539.45
534.84
516.85
506.84
457.62** (**I'm 99.99% sure this manager was on auto draft without a watchlist, for instance, they drafted KDB)

Team Value (this doesn't tally up with xPts fwiw)
117.2m (this is the auto draft team)
106.4m
104m
102.7m
100.3m
96.8m

Also interesting that over the 10 GWs that of the 60 choices, every team’s suggested captain was a 1st or 2nd round pick, with only one exception, which was a defender. That defender wasn’t Mendy, Robbo or Alonso.

Fun draft , sorry if i took a long time on some picks, I'm working away at an event and was walking from a hotel to a restaurant for much of the draft.

Interesting to note the discrepancies between the draft positions of some players across the leagues.
Ozil: 33rd (R6), 35th (R6), 68th (R12)
Pogba: 19th (R4), 35th (R6), 38th (R7)
Keita: 55 (R10) ,57 (R10), 84 (R14)
1st Def: 10th (Trippier), 11th (Mendy), 13th (Mendy)
1st GK: 15th (Lloris), 50th (Ederson), 51th (Ederson

there should still be worthwhile replacements for KDB in a smaller numbered draft.
the way you can pull up all this type of info is amazing, clearly most of the drafters rating the defence higher than attack even when there is no monetry value involved?

96.8m
So I have a middle of the road team at 534.84 but the second highest highest team value at 106.4. These stats mean nothing of course but the projections look about right looking at the everyone's teams.

6 man drafts are much more fun than the larger ones. Good luck to everyone.

Which team is which dino? Will be interesting to compare this to the final table at the end.

What a difference a few weeks make.

Man U assets dropped like stones.

For the Div 2 Draft: De Gea was the 5th picked keeper. Lukaku was the 12th pick, Sanchez didn't go to Round 4 and Pogba - Round 6. I picked Valencia up in Round 13 (my last defender pick) and none of the CBs were picked at all.

I didn’t include those details because I felt it wasn’t fair without people’s permission. I took screenshots though and will happily DM you your team’s xPts/TV.

Being a h2h league the actual xPts don’t mean a lot on their own. It’d be more useful had I done Team A vs Tean B for the respective fixtures over the 10 weeks, but I didn’t have time. If I get some spare time before Saturday i’ll Have a go at doing that though.

Division 3 drafted tonight, it was the usual suspects being taken first, with the might of Salah, Kane, Aguero and James Tarkowski going in the first four picks. Taivt and GreggsEggs auto picked, Fred's did initially but he joined the draft in pick 5 just in time to see his first 4 picks go on Tarks, Mee, Ward and Schlupp.

The banned Richarlison and Vardy both got picked up early, but the main talking point will be Fred's unusual watch list.

Full league is here:
https://ratemyteam.uk/Fiso/DraftLeague/122582

Last season I lost my first 5 H2Hs I think, so hoping for a better start this time out :D

It's in the FFS members section, which is £15 a season (i think).

I found the draft for the divisional really tough, much tougher than drafts that went before the season started, but I suppose that's because we're all picking from a smaller pool of players now.

Anyway, my first match is against Taivt I believe who auto-drafted but got a very nice looking team out of it. H2H adds a nice random element to the draft game so I'm looking forward to the competition, last year was fun but the leagues now are becoming full of experienced drafters so that challenge builds!

division 2 results
Wahine attack strategy was too good for bspittles Spurs block - Watford scored all the goals!
blue fire with Mane and a popular defence beat Toastie who's defence didnt turn up and but had 20 points on the bench
deltaforce with the inspired Walker goal and Lukuku finding the net beat morganb who played 2 Chelsea backs but Kane misfired.
In division 3
TVT was top with Mane Murray and the Chelsea block they beat Mav's team with 2 attackers awl and the rest average this day.
NWJ with Firmino and a 27 point defence beat Wonky's 3 big scorers and wonky support players.
Greggs eggs featuring Lukuku Beat Freds lot but he left Ings on the bench.

it takes a bit of time to look them up does anyone want to comment on Div 1 and 4?

This week in Div 1:
I held off Mo Bot’s Sunday comeback to win by six points. A missed Pogba penalty proving crucial as if he scores Mo wins by one point (5+2 bonus probably). Hazard and Alonso the star men for me.

Robot got the highest score of the week (53) with 37 of those points coming on Sunday. Double United defence and double Arsenal strikeforce sending him to the top of the table. Bill’s team had an off week with only Kepa, Mitrovic and Shaw contributing any returns.

Ardrageen took the spoils in the third match, with an eight point win over Jok57. Walker, Mane and Schurrle did the most damage, although Jok57 almost pulled off a comeback with Alexis and Moura one goal away from swinging the game in his favour.

THANKS DINO
Division 4
Mohun Bagan leads with his Hazard/Lukuku and popular defence with a win over Sport Billy but Mane Ings and Deeny and a host of popular picks here ensures SB team will get their share of points

Cornelis Arsenal squad, baring Aubameyang, let him down but Firmino added a few points and is sure to continue with steady returns. this was a draw with Ssutton who fielded Walker and Alonso but his midfield players did not turn up on the day.

Curwinkle team headed by Lacazette and Sterling beat Ted Striker none of his team scored over 6 points however his City block and midfielders are on everyones list for the future gameweeks.
