Mav3rick has come up with the excellent and generous idea of starting a voluntary charity prize fund for the top 3 (50%, 30%, 20%).
See the posts below for details.
Charity Prize Fund is £120 - Sponsered by Mav3rick, MorrisonDullForce, Tacalabala and Jok57.
1st Prize- £60
2nd Prize - £36
3rd Prize - £24
Nominated Charities

I'm not sure if this is strictly necessary as there are no entry fees, nobody actually wins anything and nobody is holding anyone else's cash, but just in case, here is the standard disclaimer. Which I interpret in this case as: 'If your nominated charity doesn't get all of its money then it's not FISO's fault.'

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
I've set up one of those Doodle things to help organise the draft Date: https://doodle.com/poll/ni8ani4q7r2z34e7
I haven't included times but you can indicate your preference either in the comments section or on here.
I think it might be a good idea to get the draft done before the final week before the Premier League starts, just in case the site has the same problems as last year, but we'll see what comes out of the poll.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
if you could draft at 9.30pm - 10pm that would be great?
i have early morning commitments but could be home by then, i'm not keen on the computer picks because you cant adjust your order with the knowledge you have about who you now need.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
Thank you for organising this TT. I have never played a 10 man draft before.
A draft at 10pm would be great for me but I realise that this might be too late for most. The later in the day the better for me, any day would suit me.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
It looks like it will be helpful then if everyone chooses dates for which they would be available to draft later in the evening.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
Looking at the results of those that have voted so far Sun 5th August has already emerged as the only date everyone can make, so I'll set it for that date at 9:45pm. Maybe that will be a bit quieter than on the hour or half past.
Draft Date: 5th August 21:45

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
In that case I'll switch to Fri 3rd instead to try and avoid the crowds, as it also has 5 votes.
Any chance that Fri is any better for you?

Tonight's the night, how are we shaping up? I think with 10 managers, it's really make or break tonight to be honest.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
yes i tried a few 8 member mock drafts it appears those players are picking flavour of the week, rather than season long, and its been suprising who they overlook, however now i'm joining a team of astute players that know a lot more about EPL than me, luck of the draw so lets hope I can see out the draft, I am " on call" tomorrow morning from 9am now - fingers crossed I can be there and it most of it gets done before then.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
I did an 8 man draft last week, 10 will be interesting.
I'm wondering if I'll break my duck of being in the last 3 on every draft I've done so far.

I hope to be around for the draft.I wonder how bad our teams are going to be 30 forwards have to be picked tonight which is really scraping the barrel quality wise but it might make things interesting.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
IMPORTANT FIRST DRAFT II INFORMATION
There are 10 of us in the league this season and I have decided to sponsor the league with a small charity prize fund. There will therefore be a nominal £50 prize fund for the league, with a 50%/30%/20% payout to the top three teams at the end of the season. The money will be paid direct to the charity of the winners' choice.
If you can all please nominate your (official UK registered) charity below, then I'll pay the winnings directly to that charity at the end of the season.
If anyone else would also like to chip in for the prize fund then the more the merrier (but it's totally up to you, there's no requirement to do so) you can offer up as much or as little as you'd like, and again just pay direct to the winner's nominated charity at the end of the season.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
Thanks MD and Taca, that's very generous. Perhaps Talkie Toaster can update the OP with the running charity prize fund and with everyone's nominated charity.
Just to be clear, you don't have to offer up anything (entirely voluntary), and you're completely free to just play for the prize fund and win it for your nominated charity.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
I'll join the charity contributions too. Details when I come up with a nominated charity.
Fun draw everyone!
Courtois, Dubravka
Valencia, Vertonghen, Kompany, Keane, Digne
Alli, Pogba, Willian, Deulofeu, Ritchie
Kane, Wood, Austin
for me. All seem playable for now, but a weak midfield.

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
Rspca for me:
Sort of ok with my team, a few too many chances in midfield for my liking but could be worse.
Cech/ leno
Trippier/ van djik/ mav/stones/ boly
Jota/ johankabaskh/ seri/ sanchez/ redmond
Lacazette/ zahore/ zaha
Better than suttons though!

Re: FISO "First Draft II" League
I think my front 8 are reasonably OK, but I'll have to use a couple of waivers each week to manage my defence I think!
Heaton/Schmeichel
Davies, Bellerin/Lichsteiner, Baines (possibly not for long), Clyne (for GW1 only maybe)
Salah, Richarlison, Anderson, Maddison, Pereyra
Morata/Giroud, King
On reflection I can handcuff Morata/Giroud and maybe it's not that bad having them both.
Who got TAA/Digne? Any swapsies on offer for Clyne/Baines (so you can handcuff)?

Mahrez, Sigurdsson, Gross, Kenedy, Hoillet
