FISO H2H Draft divisionals

Unfortunately, I won't be able to run this competition this season due a combination of work commitments and a desire to have more family time.

I sincerely hope someone else will pick up the baton and, if so, I hope to take part

I did start doing some preparation. I was planning on the three seasons taking place during these game weeks:

Season 3: GWs 5-14 15th Sep - 1st Dec
Season 4: GWs 17-26 15th Dec - 9th Feb
Season 5: GWs 28-37 26th Feb - 4th May

If nobody else is keen to do it then I don't mind touting for entrants and organising the leagues, but I wont be able to do the weekly updates as I'm already doing that for a few games.

Also I'd have to bring the start of Season 3 forward to GW4 (Sept 1) as I'm away when things would need doing for a GW5 start.

Right, I'd better kick things off formally then I suppose.

Season 3 will run from GWs 4-13 1st Sep - 24th Nov

This means that the drafts will take place during the week commencing Sun 26th Aug. There's no hard deadline for signing up but please bear in mind that the leagues will need to be determined by the weekend of GW3 in order to appoint admins for the leagues, for them to set the leagues up, get everyone joined and arrange the drafts. Also some numbers of entrants work better than others so sign up below as soon as you can to ensure you avoid disappointment.

New players are most welcome so here is a brief summary of how the game works: Everyone plays in a league of 6 (or 5 plus an fpl AVERAGE player) for 10 GWs, so you will play everyone else in the league twice. Head to Head scoring is used. After 10 GWs the top 2 in the League are promoted and the bottom 2 relegated for the next season. We will play 3 seasons in all over the course of the 2018/19 Premier League Year, so to play in all 3 you will need 3 spare slots from you allocation of 10 private draft leagues.

As the seasons are short we will leave Trading Options Off for Season 3, but can revisit this for the later seasons when we have a better idea from other leagues how it works out (or not)

You weren't listed because you didn't play in Season 2. I'll try and fit you back into the leagues as close to your original position (Division 2) as possible, but it all depends on who returns and whether we end up needing Leagues of 5 or 6, so you may need to start again from the bottom I'm afraid.

As this game was popular last season, unless there are overwhelming calls to include trading, I'm minded to leave it out - at least for Season 3 anyway. As the season progresses we should hopefully get some experience of trading in other draft leagues which are using it and may be in a better position to decide if it would benefit the H2H Divisionals format.

I'd welcome everyone else's thoughts on it though.
