I have 3rd pick...what would you do?

Struggling to settle on a pick here. I do the draft with my mates away from the website. 1st and 2nd will be Kane and Salah 100%. Who should I pick??

I usually go striker with my first pick as I find good strikers in this game are hard to come by, however...

Aguero and Jesus will probably rotate
Aubamayeng is a shout but concerned how well Arsenal will do.
Lukaku doesnt set the world alight at man u, but hes gauranteed to play.
Firmino looks a solid option (probably swaying to hkm at the moment)

Or would you go premium Mid (De Bruyne, Sane, Alli etc)

Strikers are few and far between, but there are loads of midfield options

I think it depends, I would probably take Sterling in isolation, but Aguero or Auba are gonna be significantly better than a striker on your second pick.

Of course you have the choice of just "pretending" you're late in the draft and taking the best mids you can, how many members in the draft? Will you get a decent striker in pick 3?

8 of us in the draft. not sure how it works on the site but we all know the pick order and do it via whatsapp group. very doubtful of a decent striker on my 3rd pick id say

I'd guess that would mean maybe you might pickup an Arnie in pick 3 if you left it (maybe), but filling the in the sub strikers will get sticky. I dunno, I think drafting late you get a super premium mid and a premium striker, but drafting early you should probably just take Auba or Aguero and then see what's available in your second pick.

You're gonna need one decent striker, which when you draft late is still achievable even if first pick goes on a super premium mid. In an early spot, it's hard to see how you could wait till pick 2/3 and still get a decent option, perhaps even with Arnie you might find yourself lacking viable subs if you delay the striker pick.
